Very cool bench style bomber seats. Just recently saw that style and I love them! Very cool 29. -
Revell 32 Ford Roadster REVISED (former Rat Roaster tool)
Calb56 replied to Mr. Metallic's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Bought the 29 roadster for the Nailhead, ended up with a sbc. I understand the sbc being used since the 50s...but I'd love a "traditional" suspension set up, just once. -

Love how this is looking, the blue looks great, love the stance. A dumb question, does the Revell 67 kit not have the vent window frame?

9 always reminds me of the song Revolution 9 by The Beatles and the "Paul is Dead" rumor it helped fuel.

My life took many turns, I had gotten into this near the end of my previous marriage, honestly because it reminded me of my father who passed young. I left almost 12 years ago because I had to get rid of everything in a move... life continued, things settled a bit and I returned. Starting from nothing and my wife, who saw me give everything away for the move and no finished models said I had to finish them this time, just not "collect". I sure miss my parts stash, but there you have it. When I left before, everyone bemoaned the death of model building but I see a Renaissance now, especially with 3d printing. The only thing I see as detrimental, is not having a 10 year collection, rebuilding parts for even a couple models (I can't seem to do stock builds...) is expensive!

I work in mass transit operating light rail commuter trains. Part of our job is transporting "non-destination" riders, who stay on the train all day long. This morning, I was physically threatened by one, which ended up escalating to the point of police intervention. Most of the time, it's just verbal and I've come to accept that it's just part of the job. This time he went after me with a metal pole and threatened to beat my *blankity blank blank". He was arrested for "menacing " and I was removed from the train for the remainder of the day. I'm honestly not sure where we are heading as a society. We have multiple assaults, trains held for "noxious fumes", i.e. smoking of hard drugs in the train, etc several times a day. So... I'm sitting here, filling out reports with my adrenaline sky high. Rant over.

Thanks, good info on the deck too, thank you. I'm planning on doing that with the Revell 29 for the TRoG California Drags build.
