  6. Incredible workmanship on this awesome build...
  7. What a neat idea!
  8. I am kind of partial to C1 Corvettes, especially 1958, 59 & 60... LOL For a powerplant how about a Viper or Ferrari V12?
  9. The front bumper chrome was bad, so I painted it Tremclad flat black.
  10. Looks cool and very interesting. I have this kit to build. Apparently my version suffers from the front bumper issue the earlier releases of this Revell 56 Chevy is known for. The later release of the Revell 56 Del Ray does not have the front bumper issue.
  11. A couple photos of my old 1974 Toyota Celica. When I first purchased the car it had a vinyl roof, which I had removed when I had it painted.
  12. I have the Testors metal 1/18th 1930 Packard Brewster to build. Purchased it almost 30 years ago during a shopping trip to Bangor & Portland, Maine. Presently too busy being caregiver for my Dad, 93 years old and in poor health. I also purchased the Testors metal 1/18 Lincoln Zephyr at the same time. Mardens Surplus & Salvage has various locations in Maine used to carry a few older kits and they were priced quite low.
  13. Never heard of this car. Will be cool to see it completed.
  14. Is not this one of Jay Leno's favorite cars? Gonna be a cool thread, I can tell...
  15. Your turning this 57 T-Bird into a real beauty...
  16. I'm willing to bet, even Rembrandt had a blemish or two in his painting masterpieces. Your 36 is going to be incredible and an inspiration to me. Many cheers from Nova Scotia....
  17. Interesting kit and build for sure. Will be watching....
  18. Impressive work.
  19. Now that's cool...
  20. Sweet little hot rod. Love it....
  21. Love the 240Z, one of my favorite sports cars of all time. There are a few around here powered by small block Chevys and small block Fords, and that is the way I would build it. One owner with swapped in a Ford 289 and claims the 289 weighs less then the Datsun inline 6.
  22. Excellent...
  23. Gonna be cool..
  24. Off to a great start...
  25. Beautiful work on this beauty....
