    Using the AMT 55 Chevy kit. I’m going to try to beat up the body to make it look well used, then try my first attempt at weathering. I sanded the trim and drilled holes where the door handles, keyholes and trim were. I spent game four of the World Series opening up the driver’s side door, took eight innings.

    Tamiya Italian red over Tamiya gloss aluminum…gray primer to start.

    My brother had a 1969 in Big Bad Green, he sold it in the mid seventies, he’s still kicking himself for it.

    Yes I did. I layered some thin styrene then filled in the gaps with Tamiya putty, then lots of sanding.

    AMT Christine kit, first one I had molded in white, stripped off all the chrome and painted it matt black, hubcaps are also matt black. Roof and inlay are regular black, body is Seafoam green. I cut the chassis to accommodate large Drag 500 slicks. Motor came from the 57 Chrysler 300 kit. Radio antenna is in the “down” racing position, actually I snapped it off.

    Trying something a little different. I stripped the chrome, going to paint it all flat black. I cut the chassis to fit large drag tires. I painted the body seafoam green.
