  1. AMT 66 stocker. Always wanted to try one of these kits. I dislike the oversized tires that come with it, used Plastic Performance wheels and tires. The decals were some leftover Smokin Joes. Very simple kit, not many parts but lots of fit issues. I didn’t use the bumper bars that came with the kit, there is no area for the rear to attach to and the front would not line up. I filled in the rear wheel wells with .020 styrene and Tamiya putty. Anyway, I’m happy with the result, I like the black and green together. I resisted the urge to smother it in decals, maybe add some later.

  8. I was trying black tape on a windshield for a NASCAR build, I thought it looked awful so I took the tape off but it left residue. I’ve tried soap and water and rubbing alcohol but neither worked. Any suggestions?

  14. What’s better than starting a new build when you have about 25 already started? Starting 2, of course. Purchased 2 Salvinos’ 442 kits on sale from Mike’s. Both have been primed with grey and have been top coated with white.
  15. James Bond would look cool driving an Aston Martin gasser.

  19. I’ve been reading that there is an issue with handling chrome paint (specifically Revell). Some parts like rims must be touched by hand to insert them into the tire, do gloves help? Any suggestions would be appreciated before I invest in a can.
  20. Pretty sure any car would look cool as a gasser.
