Wow….great work! -
Looking for a little help. I have never worked on a “glue bomb” How much disassembly can actually be done, can windshields be removed? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Fantastic, one of the best builds I’ve seen!!!

Finally did some work on this car, did all the pre-assembly work, I will be brush painting since I’m in a cold region. I received an oculus VR video game for my last birthday and I’m totally hooked on the fishing game. Anyway, hope to get the painting done next week.

Nice work…I remember building this as a kid, I masked the stripes with scotch tape.

It was at Dragway Park, Cayuga Ontario (now called Toronto Motorsport Park), would not be able to say who the driver was, there is a picture of me standing beside Ed McColloug’s Revolution, but it probably wasn’t him. It was probably 1969 or 70.

Ya. The Smokin’ Joe’s car…coincidentally, I’m using an AMT 95 Mark Martin car for the build.

The movie, The Song Remains the Same (Led Zeppelin) features a drum solo by John Bonham. There is also clips of his personal life while the solo is playing, near the end he drives a dragster down a quarter mile, while the car is idling at the tree, the drums match the engine sound, not sure if it was planned but I always thought it was super cool.

One of the all time greats. He wasn’t one of my favorite drivers , but his accomplishments speak for themselves. He was ferocious, Buddy Baker talked about looking over at him during caution and watching him pull up his gloves, Buddy said he’d pull them right up to his elbows, guess he meant business, wasn’t intimidated by no one.
