  1. Thank you very much! Very nice of you to say that! I'm glad my ideas find approval ! 😊
  2. This is the "making of" of the trailer chassis: Tires are also printed cause I didn't have any small ones in the box! Assembled chassis with axles and brake drums! The white "stoppers" we're box parts. Assembled wheels: Chassis almost complete! I chose smaller wheels because as far as I know lowboys mostly do have smaller ones. Here you can see the difference in size compared to the truck wheels:
  3. Thanks Steve! I thought a lot about it till I finally decided what to pair it with. I want to put two other Mack trucks on the lowboy, sort of a Mack family thing!
  4. Hi everyone! Been a while since I last posted to this thread! I'm waiting for the resin hood Bren printed for me. It's on its way across the ocean! Meanwhile I thought about a possible trailer and decided to make a lowboy! Something like this: This is the first shot of a virtual mock-up: Still a lot missing but I guess it'll be OK!
  5. Any time Pal! Just name it! 👍 It'll be a great project!
  6. You put a beautiful truck to life here Jeff! It's a real eye catcher! Great job! 👍
  7. Nice job Jeff! The installed engine is awesome and the whole build .... Wow!
  8. Very nice! Neat work and authentic paint work!
  9. Cool stuff Jeff! Always looking real and authentic what you do!
  10. Well done! I can imagine it's hard looking at a model getting dustier every day! The question to me has always been, which one goes in the case and which one doesn't? A hard decision! You'll do the right thing!
  11. Beautiful truck! Very nice paint scheme, very well executed!
  12. Nice! I'm glad that my Superliner is not the only one here. Are you going to use a kit body or printed?
  13. Nice! 👍 Unfortunately it's not exactly on my daily route. Last time I was in Utah that was 1993, in Moab!
  14. Looking better everyday, even if that's actually not possible! 😉
  15. Thanks Jeff! Concerning the decals, I created them on the computer, mostly Powerpoint or something and then I print them on decal paper, either white or transparent. On white you get deeper colors but you have to cut them out very precisely. In this case I used a transparent sheet. The colors didn't come out as deep as I hoped but it was easy to cut them out! The hood tilts pretty well! And here's a birds eye view!
  16. Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it! Till the new hood arrives there's not much to do. Put the side steps on the tanks and sleeper, rear plates, chains, a bit of fine tuning here and there! Still missing: fuel filler caps, bumper has to be glued on, ...
  17. How's this? Also got the end pieces of the fuel tanks:
  18. Thanks everyone! I'm convinced! 👍 Squares it shall be!
  19. You mean like these? Thanks for your honest opinion Guys!
  20. I'm thinking about the head lights! I'm not so convinced anymore If it really looks good! I do have rectangular doubles in the box. What do you guys think?
  21. That's gonna be an interesting build Ron! Your knowledge of all of these PB types is impressive! But even if it is, as you say, more KW than PB, I don't think that matters since they both come out of the Paccar truck forge! Looks really promising! I'll be watching this!
  22. I don't think I'll ever figure that out! I'm way behind in that stuff! Looking great, Jeff!
  23. Don't worry about it! Ever seen a truck where everything's symmetric? I saw a Bentley Arnage the other day! The gaps left and right of the trunk lid were totally different! Even the best of the best have faults! 😉
