  1. You mean like these? Thanks for your honest opinion Guys!
  2. I'm thinking about the head lights! I'm not so convinced anymore If it really looks good! I do have rectangular doubles in the box. What do you guys think?
  3. That's gonna be an interesting build Ron! Your knowledge of all of these PB types is impressive! But even if it is, as you say, more KW than PB, I don't think that matters since they both come out of the Paccar truck forge! Looks really promising! I'll be watching this!
  4. I don't think I'll ever figure that out! I'm way behind in that stuff! Looking great, Jeff!
  5. Don't worry about it! Ever seen a truck where everything's symmetric? I saw a Bentley Arnage the other day! The gaps left and right of the trunk lid were totally different! Even the best of the best have faults! 😉
  6. Looks great Jeff! This is gonna be another one of your marvelously detailed builds!
  7. Wow Gary! That is one awesome truck you got there! Amazing work! Jeff was absolutely right wenn he said that anyone would be proud to wheel that down the road!
  8. Decals applied. A mock-up to see how it will look when I have the resin hood! Then I will put the bulldog on top and a few other details that I don't want to waste like turning signals, "Superliner" emblems, ...! This hood is a bit warped and the surface is not so nice to look at! The head lights are just attached with double sided tape so I can take them off easily again. I decided to give it a not so typical look by using single lamps instead of the common double rectangulars.
  9. Fuel tank mock-up: The ends are still on their way! Should arrive tomorrow! Hope they look good! It's just a try of something new!
  10. Put the wipers and mirrors in place! Also added an antenna to the sleeper! Prepared the cable ties for mounting the fuel tanks! The tanks will be made of 25mm aluminium tubes with fitting caps at the ends. I'm also giving the hood a last chance! Or myself! 😊 I don't know what I did wrong compared to the cab but I just didn't get the hood as smooth as I wanted. I sanded it down once more and primered it. Hope it comes out better this time! No matter how it turns out it won't be my final plan! Bren is printing the hood for me in his resin printer which will make the hood smooth as a baby's butt! Thanks very very much Bren! I'm really anxious to see how it turns out! I'll finish this up with the ugly hood anyway but it will be easy to exchange it wenn the resin part comes. Also the decals I will apply can be reproduced easily so there won't be much effort in exchanging hoods!
  11. Here's a bit more: Self made hand rails: Stacks are mounted: Mirror brackets made of 0.5mm brass rod:
  12. Thanks very much Guys! Glad you like it!
  13. A bit of progress yesterday evening: Stacks are chromed: Cab is mounted, air cleaners completed, ... ...and connected!
  14. Unfortunately, at least in Europe, a guy from Revell told me they're taking the American trucks out of the programme! Im glad I ordered a few spare parts a few months ago. That's over now too! 😢
  15. I remembered where the decals were from! The amt A64B Autocar tractor! I cut away the "WX" and used only the Western Express! This is also where I got the decals for my KW Aerodyne!
  16. An in between mock-up with the painted cab and headache rack:
  17. The decals were from some other kit. I'm afraid I can't remember which one! Could have been the Western Star but I'm really not sure.
  18. That is so cool Gary! Dash and visor are top level modeling! Like the whole build of course!
  19. You didn't miss it Jeff, I had built it years ago. 😊
  20. Thanks! Unfortunately I accidently broke off the shifter taking These pics! 🙈 I'll have to see how I fiddle that thing back in!
  21. These will be the stacks! Aluminium and brass tubes Assembled: Tomorrow they'll be chromed! These cable ties will be the tank straps:
  22. Got a bit of painting done. Filler primer: Base coat: Looks a bit Green but it's Revell no. 12 (yellow gloss). And the bumper came out quite nice: Some parts, like the hood, still need lots of attention!
