  1. Very clean build, and excellent paint! I do believe that your Brake Master Cylinder is sideways, though. The two "U" shaped clamps are what hold the lid on, and should be on top (not trying to be critical). I do have a question though. What glue do you use for the P/E emblems? I've tried superglue, but it "clouds" the emblems, and doesn't look right when I do it.
  2. That is a pretty cool looking truck. Love the color!
  3. I'll be back in my hometown of Sandusky, the last week of August. Anything going on nearby that week?
  4. Are there any contests/shows near Indianapolis over Labor Day Weekend? My wife and I will be in Anderson that week.
  5. I like to use the original name brand Easy-Off. It's great on enamel (brush-painted old kits). I've not had any luck with Super Clean or Purple Power. Never used brake fluid. Scale Coats from the model railroad world has good reviews. I personally have used Testors ELO with excellent results (follow the instructios to the letter though).
  6. Your work on this is amazing! I have a '69 Camaro convertible with the same issue (it's in my "maybe later" pile).
  7. Wow, talk about super-detailing! Excellent build, sir!
  8. That is absolutely beautiful!
  9. Excellent story on a beautiful build!
  10. Wow, I wish I had a fraction of the patience required to pull that off!
  11. Sweet ride! I always love to see replica builds.
  12. Thanks for all the input guys!
  13. That is a gorgeous interior! Especially the bits of "carpet" on the door panels & console.
  14. I've thought about using a spray adhesive, but it needs to be a good quality (much better than what I have on hand. It's too runny). I used 3M on my headliner, back in the 90's. I will definitely be getting some for my next flocking attempt!
  15. Excellent work on that! You may have inspired me to do the same, on my next Moebius Ford build (which will be the 70 F-250 4x4).
  16. I'll keep that in mind, when I pull mine off the shelf. Somehow I ended up with two of these. I avoided the full bumper version. Thanks for the tip!
  17. That is true. It looks like 60's & 70's carpet, and flocking looks like some 80's & 90's carpet.
  18. I have used embossing powder, but I think the texture doesn't look right sometimes. I love it as a "spray-on" bedliner. It's spot on for that, in my opinion. I have not however, thinned my glue before applying the flocking. I read a tip somewhere else, that showed the difference sifting makes when applying the flocking. I thought it looked better sifted. It may also depend on where you get your flocking from, as well. Beautiful interior, by the way!
  19. Yeah, that was my 1st mistake I think.
  20. Beautiful build! I love the two-tone paint, and how the resin caster actually molded the stake holes open>
  21. Very cool ! I love the "phantom" category. Endless possibilities!
  22. Very well done, and nicely detailed!
  23. Yod did an amazing job, on a kit of questionable quality! I built the older Z/28 AMT Camaro, and it wasn't a very good kit.
