  1. Wow.....so jealous. My older brother had a dark blue 68 fastback. I think I was about 5 or 6??
  2. Very nice! I love your color choice. I too, was not happy with the louvers, and should have used acetate sheet to make my own rear window. I also hated the kit wheels, and used a set from another Revell truck kit (F-150 Ranger stepside).
  3. That looks amazing! Revell did release a 2008 Bullitt kit awhile back. I have one, but foolishly traded my original 68 Bullitt (still crying real tears over that).
  4. Wow, that is beautiful! I love the color combination. It looks like the Model Master "Root Beer" brown, on the exterior. That's something you don't see very often.
  5. That is a thing of beauty! White is such a good muscle car color, especially with the red interior & black stripes like yours.
  6. Yes they do. I've seen Explorer wheels on a Cherokee before.
  7. You're welcome, Terry. What do you use for masking? A lot of people love the orange Tamiya tape, but I've had bleed through on several occasions.
  8. I hope this is the place for my question. Why can't I open a jpeg photo? Is it my browser? When I post a picture, I drag it over from my email, and it works great. But any time I try to look at someone's post with a jpeg photo, it does not open for me.
  9. Very clean build! I especially love the blue. Are the inner fenders separate, or did you have to mask them to paint the red?
  10. That is spot on! I love the attention to detail. Very authentic! I know a woman who has a 1:1 replica. Hers looks like it has Ford Ranger (??) wheels on it.
  11. That is absolutely beautiful!
  12. Wow, that is amazing!
  13. Beautiful build! I love to see something you don't see a lot of (like how many Moebius wreckers will we see, Lol?). Thanks for the tips on working with resin. I'm currently working on an old RMR Vacuumcraft 58 Impala wagon, and I feel like I have already worn out a couple dremel attachments.
  14. Your builds are always so consistently clean perfect! Like a box art model, professional level quality.
  15. Amazing work on that old Ford! I sometimes get more satisfaction from a restoration, than building a brand new kit. It's like a scale version of one of those car shows (and definitely more in my budget, Lol).
  16. Excellent work! I love seeing Corvairs built up like this.
  17. My thoughts exactly! I was going to redo one that I had built for a former neighbor (who has since passed away). His wife gave it back to me when she sold her house, and moved to Atlanta. I really didn't want to go that route though.
  18. Very nice! I love the late 70's El Caminos. Almost ended up buying a 79 with a 350 4 barrel, but it wasn't very practical when you have two kids in car seats.
  19. Wow! Great color combination. I think white is under used & under appreciated on the classics.
  20. Wow Dan, that looks amazing! The paint is flawless. I'm currently building the 67 convertible, and I'm getting pretty frustrated with the issues you mentioned. I've already put a glue mark on the hood (Grrrr). The main trouble areas are the inner fenders/ interior cowl area.
  21. That is a work of art! A very well done old Ford.
  22. Very nice! I love the late 50's early 60's Impalas>
  23. Thank you David! I'm thinking about adding a hinge to the hood near the bumper, to have it open backwards like a Corvette.
  24. Thanks! Yes, Chevy did make a 58 Nomad. I found one for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
  25. Very nice! I love the color combination. It's rare to see a tan interior these days.
