HPI Guy AMT 1/20 '92 Toyota pickup.

I wish they would release this and the Nissan in 1/25th -
A different post showed Revell releasing a series of kits based on the "Stranger Things" series. K-5 Blazer, 79 Camaro, "Surfer Boy" pizza delivery van. The "Country Squire" station wagon would be nice to see.

It's never a question of "need" though, is it?

The Future of Revell...for 2024 at least.

I see a lot of tow truck potential with that kit -
Thank you for sharing that story. So cool! I really want to do a "Lace" decal on the roof (STS Decals has some really cool ones), but I'm not sure how that will work with my light blue pearl (body) & White pearl (roof). I met the STS folks at a recent show, and they will customize any order, so I may try go go with a light blue "Lace". I'm also going to attempt to flock the door panel "carpeted" areas, and the tops of the seats (to represent suede). So far I'm having trouble getting the hood to close. The supercharger is a bit tall, so I may have to go back to Iceman, and get a different 572. I look forward to following your build as well! I hated to "cannibalize" the Impala kit I have, but I do have another one in my stash. The AMT 58's are very easy to find, and they're still pretty affordable. I'm trying to get my hands on a Revell 58 impala, but not having much luck so far.

Wow, that's beautiful! I can't wait to pick up one for myself. -
You're entirely too hard on yourself. I see nothing wrong with the paint, as far as dust, runs, etc. So it's not super shiny. Big deal! That is a very well done 69. Clean and very neat.

Beautiful Goat! A very clean build, with "just enough" added detail.

Thanks Dave! I shared a video on Facebook, of one for sale on Marketplace (it's in Kentucky). You're fortunate to have owned a classic car. Maybe I will someday. My plan is to try to put a supercharged 572 (Iceman Collections) in her, with some Pegasus wheels & tires (4 wheel disc brakes). I picked up a couple of Revell 67 Chevelle rebuilders recently, and found that the chassis fit under the Impala with absolutely no modifications (woo hoo!). I wanted a more modern chassis under the 58, to give it a Restomod look. The Impala is an old RMR Vacuum Craft kit (slush cast), so there's lots of grinding & sanding on the inside needed to make sure the glass & chrome fit, but so far no issues with the chassis at all.

My daughter just turned 35 in September!

Yead, I definitely like the way this is going! Did you make the side molding? It looks custom.

That turned out great! I am in love with that color, wow!
