  1. That is a beautiful build!
  2. That's pretty sweet!
  3. That is amazing!
  4. Beautiful! I love the color combination, and the straight 6.
  5. Thanks Carl. Me too! I'm dying to get started on my 55 Nomad & 57 Del-Rio. I already have an "Iceman Collections" Coyote motor for it.
  6. That's awesome! Unfortunately I missed that opportunity, so I'm pretty excited about this news. Until now, I was planning on building my own (one day, Lol) but I'm happy to wait for this one!
  7. Yeah, I've seen that kit online many times, but never actually seen it in person. I combined the wrecker bed (from the blue box pic) reissue of the Revell "Captain Hook" kit, with the cab from the AMT "Super Stones" Ford, and won a 1st Place at the last show I attended. That wrecker is definitely a very basic snap-kit, but until that Moebius wrecker comes out, it's all there is.
  8. I added a scoop from a ZL-1 Camaro kit. Haven't tried to shave anything from the underside of the hood yet. Not really looking to cut the hood.
  9. I had no idea. Thanks for that. Sounds like the "Captain Hook" square body wrecker, that's been reissued a few times.
  10. Very nice! I love the F & F cars.
  11. Awesome build with a very cool background!
  12. I wish they would release this and the Nissan in 1/25th
  13. A different post showed Revell releasing a series of kits based on the "Stranger Things" series. K-5 Blazer, 79 Camaro, "Surfer Boy" pizza delivery van. The "Country Squire" station wagon would be nice to see.
  14. It's never a question of "need" though, is it?
  15. I see a lot of tow truck potential with that kit
  16. Thank you for sharing that story. So cool! I really want to do a "Lace" decal on the roof (STS Decals has some really cool ones), but I'm not sure how that will work with my light blue pearl (body) & White pearl (roof). I met the STS folks at a recent show, and they will customize any order, so I may try go go with a light blue "Lace". I'm also going to attempt to flock the door panel "carpeted" areas, and the tops of the seats (to represent suede). So far I'm having trouble getting the hood to close. The supercharger is a bit tall, so I may have to go back to Iceman, and get a different 572. I look forward to following your build as well! I hated to "cannibalize" the Impala kit I have, but I do have another one in my stash. The AMT 58's are very easy to find, and they're still pretty affordable. I'm trying to get my hands on a Revell 58 impala, but not having much luck so far.
  17. Wow, that's Beautiful! Love the custom license plate, too.
  18. Very nice! I love a 90's Z. I believe we have the same countertops (Lol).
  19. Wow, that's beautiful! I can't wait to pick up one for myself.
  20. You're entirely too hard on yourself. I see nothing wrong with the paint, as far as dust, runs, etc. So it's not super shiny. Big deal! That is a very well done 69. Clean and very neat.
  21. Beautiful Goat! A very clean build, with "just enough" added detail.
  22. Thanks Dave! I shared a video on Facebook, of one for sale on Marketplace (it's in Kentucky). You're fortunate to have owned a classic car. Maybe I will someday. My plan is to try to put a supercharged 572 (Iceman Collections) in her, with some Pegasus wheels & tires (4 wheel disc brakes). I picked up a couple of Revell 67 Chevelle rebuilders recently, and found that the chassis fit under the Impala with absolutely no modifications (woo hoo!). I wanted a more modern chassis under the 58, to give it a Restomod look. The Impala is an old RMR Vacuum Craft kit (slush cast), so there's lots of grinding & sanding on the inside needed to make sure the glass & chrome fit, but so far no issues with the chassis at all.
  23. Grand National door panels,Monte Carlo SS seats, junkyard console & shifter (cut down shock for e-brake)
