  1. Great job. Great kit to build. I can't wait to get the 56
  2. I am excited about Moebius doing the 1965 Cyclone. I have wanted to build one for years but nobody really did a street car. MCW has a couple drag cars and I know Perry's Resin showed a street kit but I don't think any of the cars had correct emblems and front grill. With the 70 1/25 Revell Cuda and the 1956 Chrysler 300B from Moebius it should be an exciting 12 months for new releases.
  3. Thanks Tom. That is a good link to keep.

    Renault 5 Turbo

Very nice. I drove a friend's back in the mid 80's and it was dark blue. What a fast and great handling car. It may not feel fast today but it did in 1985. Great job on the build.
  5. Beautiful
  6. Nice build. I have the Heavy Chevy decals from Keith and I am going to eventually do a 72. I have been wondering where to get a bench seat so thanks for the info.
  7. If you look at the AMT websight it looks like the model is not available now until November
  8. nice build
  9. I would email Kevin directly about your part.
  10. Nice build. did you replicate someone's real car?
  11. Great job, needless to say. What is it with the newer kit releases and trying to get a good stance. I kinda miss the metal solid axles on the cars from the 60's! LOL!
  12. Bandit Resin did have a Dart hood scoop that looks correct but I think you need to email them to see if it is still available.
  13. I am not sure if the six pack hoods showing from the two sights are the correct hood. I don't think they are the factory hood scoops that came on the 72 Demons and the Dart Sports.
  14. Ending up looking very good
  15. Clean build and it looks very correct for a stock Malibu SS. I like the color and the correct ride height etc.
  16. Looks good. I like the color on it.
  17. Beautiful!
  18. Do you want to build a GTX or Roadrunner?
  19. I think they are and their sight is active. I bought a 69 Barracuda from them a couple years ago. I received it quickly and it is great quality.
  20. Thanks everyone. I had a few issues with body fit that may or may have not occured with the standard Catalina body and interior. It could have been me also! I will finish it up this weekend and on to an original MPC 1968 Charger R/T that is replicating my 1:1 car that I had a few years ago.
  21. When I was a kid my uncle bought a new bright red 62 Grandprix beautiful car. Thanks for all the compliments. I should have bought a few of these conversions. Since they are no longer available.

Looks good. I need to finish mine.
  23. I have a few more detail items to finish and few fitting issues that I need to resolve but close to finishing after a few years of working on and off. This is a Shawn Carpenter 62 Grand Prix conversion of the 1962 AMT Catalina kit. I wouldn't even want to think how many times I have started and stopped working on this kit. It is painted correct Burgundy metallic from MCW paints. This wasn't the easiest conversion I have ever done but will end up looking good in the end. Anyhow thanks for looking.
