  1. Thanks everyone
  2. I wanted to post some pictures of my Revell Cuda build. I am painting it B5 blue. It is enamel from Scale Finishes. It has been a long time since I have painted with enamel through my airbrush. (maybe never?) I will be painting the body this week as I have been using Tim Boyd's tips from his quick build and Randy Bodkin's notes from his build on this sight. Thanks
  3. Cool, Very good job
  4. Scale Equipment LTD http://www.seltd.net/ez-catalog/X344897/24/24626
  5. I bought the AMT tires and they do fit perfectly with the wheels. I will try to get pictures posted this weekend of my build. Randy, I like your look to the wheels they look more like 1:1 to me. I keep looking at the Revell wheels and thinking they don't look quite right to me. I took my Scale Equip LTD Ralley wheels out last night a set I bought a few years ago to see if they might work but I think it might take quite a bit of work. Maybe on my 2nd Cuda build I will try them. They look a little more accurate to me than the Revell wheels. I don't know why the Revell wheels look a little off from the real wheels. It is probably just me.
  6. Excellent job. The Tamiya Porsche stance etc just looks right on to me.
  7. Randy thanks I will use your method.
  8. Randy I painted by back panel black last night and I am getting ready to paint the body this weekend. I have been pondering how to do the tailights and I was glad to see your post last night. I have a question on your taillights. Did you use like just a regular red paint or did you use a transluscent red for the lenses? Thanks
  9. That is a great looking kit
  10. Randy that looks great.
  11. I am almost positive these are Modelhaus Redlines I used on my 68 Charger kit. I apologize the picture is kind of lousy from my phone This btw is a MPC kit not a Revell
  12. Is the body corrected? I know the original cars had the 68 side moldings that the 69 didn't have.
  13. Did the model come with the convertible top?
  14. nice clean build
  15. I wouldn't think it would have an engine plate in the chassis as the body has a separate hood if I remember right. It is probably based on the MPC original kit and those chassis are pretty basic. I just finished the MPC 1968 Charger R/T kit and the chassis is pretty basic but it does sit correctly. You could email Don and he will get back to you on a question like that.
  16. Great Job. Thanks for posting the pictures
  17. Just found them Tim is right.
  18. Has anyone purchased this kit? The new release this month?
  19. They should be chrome btw, good job.
  20. Randy how did you do the Elastomeric rear bumper guards in chrome? Did you use Alclad or Bare Metal Foil?
  21. Interesting I wouldn't have thought that. Oh well that works! I will check tonight when I get home. Thanks again Tim
  22. Randy and anyone who is building this kit. I am working on the suspension and I have two kits. I don't seem to have the pins to attach the brakes with either kit. Am I missing something? I looked at both kits and have the retainers but no pins? Thanks
