  1. Yeah it is 1/6. It is probably the nicest CB750 kit though.
  2. The Tamiya kit is way nice but way expensive.....
  3. Thanks for the photos. I don't have to now and you are taking much better pictures than me.
  4. Well to answer my own question I just found Tim Boyd's write up and review of that kit and those tires that come with the kit are exactly what I am looking for. Thanks Ron for the tip and thanks Tim for the interesting write up on the Piranha Spy Car.
  5. Ron is this the AMT reissued kit? http://www.round2models.com/models/amt/piranha-spy-car
  6. I am going to be starting on my Motor City Resin Caster's 1966 Barracuda in the next few weeks as I am going to be wrapping up my 68 Roadrunner kit. The Barracuda Formula S came standard with Goodyear Blue Streak tires and I was wondering about recommendations on replicating them. I looked at Indycals Blue streak racing decals as an option and the kit comes complete with tires but they are blackwalls. The new AMT slicks are perfect looking except they are too big and they are slicks! Anyhow any input would be appreciated. Here is a sight with the info. http://www.teamstarfish.com/formulaS.html
  7. I will try to do a review this week. I have started on it but have stopped as I need to finish my 68 Roadrunner kit now that the holidays are over. My impression so far (I am not a motorcycle builder normally) is the technology is old school and it will take quite a bit of work to make a nice replica. The biggest frustration is the amount of chrome on the kit. I have started it & I find myself spending time removing chrome from pieces or spraying chrome with dullcoat to make it look more accurate. The fit on pieces are pretty good except for the wheels. I guess for 1970 technology it isn't that bad. Anyhow I will post some pictures this week.
  8. Thanks Dave for the update. This is a soon as it is released purchase for me.
  9. Nice job. I remember Grumpy's toy from my childhood days. Thanks for the photos

It is looking good so far.
  12. Great job. I don't normally like aftermarket wheels on models but love the look.
  13. I like it
  14. Nice. Very impressive job.
  15. Great paint. What color is the exterior? The car looks fantastic.
  16. Wow I didn't know you can get a MG TC to look that good. Beautiful
  17. I was just going to post the same thing that Missing Link makes very accurate tail lights. I really love your paint and you obviously did a great job. I am working on the same model. The one area that is a weakness on this kit is that grill. I really wish somebody would do an accurate one. Anybody out there trying to do one in resin that looks correct? Anyhow that has nothing to do with your excellent build.
  18. Randy once again you motivate me to better model building. Great Job.
  19. Very nice job. I built the same kit a few years ago and built it as a Hang Ten with decals from Keith Marks. Anyhow your build is excellent.

    nice car. Very clean build
  21. Beautiful. I need to start on mine.
  22. Very nice.
  23. Yes resin has come a long way in the past few years. With Motor City Resin Casters, Modelhaus, and Missing Link Resin leading the way those old bodies look pretty rough. Dave is right they provided bodies that we couldn't get anywhere else. I don't think that Comet looks all that rough though.
  24. I had no idea you could find these. I had a set on my 72 Demon. My dad was not happy with my decision. Thank you for the information 1
