  1. It's better to wear out than it is to rust out...
  2. Also Neil Young in Rust Never Sleeps
  3. It's better to burn out than to fade away...
  4. "Horse around in Auto Shop and you'll end up getting three swats with a canoe paddle!" our teacher informed us on the first day of class.
  5. You can't polish a turd but you CAN stick a flag in it and call it an island.
  6. Recently released model car kits and some upcoming releases (such as the Gas Ronda Long-Nosed Mustang Funny Car!) are adding excitement to our shared hobby.
  7. Trailers of an advanced age made from wood that has become old and dried out are ruined when someone loads them with the muck from the pig pen.
  8. We've had 4 of these e-bike riders killed in the last 5 weeks in my neck of Southern California, ALL under the age of 14. IMNSHO, e-bikes SHOULD be designated as motor-driven cycles and you 'd need at least a State Learner's Permit to operate them on public streets.
  9. Like I wanna be a rock star, like I think I'll go on American Idle and like sing a song and like be voted number one and then like I'll get a recording contract and like cut an album and like it'll hit number one and like a lot of people might like me.
  10. Sweeter strawberries come fresh from the farm, not imported and ripened in a semi-trailer like the ones you see at the grocery store.
  11. One way for us all to keep our sanity is participating and contributing to this forum and continually building model cars.
  12. I cut it TWICE and it's STILL too short!...
  13. I was at the grocery store after work today, they were out of Hostess Ho-Hos and I forget to pick up some ice cream... Oh, the HORROR!...
  14. Working with "professional mechanics" who neglect or refuse to test drive and qualify their driveability repairs, causing "repaired" vehicle to break down and die with no restart in the middle of the I-15 freeway during "rush hour" VERY heavy traffic less than 8 miles into the return trip to its assigned post office.(35 miles away) CHP pushed me off of the freeway onto the shoulder, tow truck carried the vehicle and me back to the Vehicle Maintenance Facility. I'm just glad this happened to ME during a vehicle shuttle and not to another less experienced driver or the mail route carrier...
  15. Target zone is what I become and air is what I HOPE to see at the end of the hood, but it is usually the car in front of me's rear end coming way too close because some idiot is slamming on the brakes in the middle of their texting frenzy while driving in heavy traffic.
