  1. Absolutely keep notes. To me, research, planning and imagining the finished project are near the top of my list of the most enjoyable aspects of our hobby. I created a template that I use to record the details of each planned build, print it and include it with the kit's instructions. I also have several builds going simultaneously and end up, due to job obligations and predominant life getting in the way, have excessive down time between my opportunities at the bench. I like Bill's idea of referring to his WIP posts in this forum to jog his memory and add that to my strategy in the future.
  2. Mistake is grabbing the wrong wrench because wrench organizers help keep my toolbox neat and tidy as well as making specific sizes easy to find.
  3. Sentence after sentence after irrational sentence comes out of their mouths, only proving beyond any shadow of a doubt that they know nothing in reference to the subject at hand.
  4. Inclement weather doesn't deter most of us who work outdoors from doing our jobs, but it definitely makes the work day a whole lot less pleasant.

"plenty menty hot" reminds me of the time we took my inlaws to our favorite local Thai restaurant, ordered our heat level of 4 on a 5 scale, as my wife and I had done MANY times before, and as we all ate our food, we began to sweat and our faces turned red from the heat, for which it was explained to us "oh, we're getting chilis from Thailand now, they are much hotter than the chilis we had before".

  12. Misinformation is sometimes articulated through honest mistakes, but is most frequently attempts to convey material that is unabashedly false.
  13. YEP! I'm also extremely fortunate that my wife is a very prolific quilter and understands that regarding my model car kits, just like with her fabric purchases, you have to get 'em while you can because the production run may be limited and available for a short period of time. She also has a HUGE stash, but as Empty Nesters, we don't encroach on anyone's space but our own...
  14. Father Time has been extremely benevolent to me in some aspects, but absolutely cruel in other episodes during the course of of my life so far.
  15. I've had REALLY good experiences with kits from Mike's Carburetor Parts and their made in U.S.A. kit prices have been VERY competitive. https://www.carburetor-parts.com/2-jet-carburetor-kits
