  1. Bloody looks stunning in lone o ranger and that injection setup looks perfect
  2. Neat looking LC there mate very early 90s looking.
  3. Here’s a little more progress not much but it all adds up. I painted the chassis up today and primed the body and sanded it. It needs a bit more sanding and it should be good body wise. I’ve also got some parts for it printing at the moment.
  4. Here’s a DDA LJ Torana built into an 80s streeter with a 350 Chev
  5. Some street freak mock ups I’m doing
  6. Well I can’t remember where I put the flip front body to save myself but I did have a spare body I started to cut up the other month. Which whilst pro stock is cool gassers are wicked so it will be a Monaro gasser finally. I’ll be using a blown big block on a 3d printed chassis with the period correct hilborn set up on the top of the blower. the second picture is of it with Us Indy wheels on the front and back which gives it a street freak look to it but I’ll continue building this throughout the next couple of weeks.
  7. Here’s another one of my 3d printed builds. The car in question will be an Holden LJ Torana funny car from way back in the early 70s. It was powered at first by a blown Small Block and then powered by a nitro blown Big Block Chev which I believe came out of a race boat. The car has been on a few covers of the Australian hotrod magazines throughout that time period due to its fiery burnouts. the picture of it roofless happened only because the roof caved in at the start line at Castlereagh drag strip. So the crew actually cut the roof of and just went full send with it. Enough of the cars history it time to show the beginning mock-ups for it. I am using a 3d printed Logge chassis which is incorrect for it as it ran I believe a Don Hardy style chassis but I’m not really for accuracy. The body has been modified by me a fair bit on tinkercad. The blower hat is temporary. The colours will be SMS paints mainly purple and orange flames. But that’s it for now stay tuned for more.
  8. I used sms paints clear green but I reckon I should of used tamiya clear green due to the sms paints made the glass go funny
  9. This is one awesome looking gasser so far. I have to say I love the American street freaks it’s just a shame they never caught back here in aus
  10. It came up stunningly and that marina blue just suits the black wheels
  11. Tis that lj in chateau mauve
  12. Just some painting and playing with my new lc torana kit
  13. I really do wish DDA would of done a single headlight option on these falcon kits so we can do Fairmonts or Larry Ormsbys Braker 3but other wise there a good kit
  14. An old school wildbunch drag car I’m doing now using a DDA Holden hj panel van
  15. Looking through my Australian hotrodding review mags from the 60s and thought share the cover of this one as it’s relevant to this topic. The uncertain t made a noise around the world huh. Keep up the killa work though.
  16. More paint done on the street freak xy
  17. I have to figure out where the last spring mount actually went I think it went flying across the desk and into the carpet never to be seen again
  18. It’s done
  19. Here’s my completed revell 69 nova street freak. The colour is SMS paints Jade green and Pearl Apple green. The motor is a 3d printed big block I got off eBay. But that’s all enjoy.
  20. DDA xy gasser/streetfreak for a instagram buddy build with @Cool Hand. The paint is SMS paints
  21. I’m thinking I might do that or even respray the roof so there’s no stars
  22. Here’s some more updates on the Monaro I painted stars and yes they look a bit rubbish but I don’t care. I changed the interior to a hk Monaro one and the chassis to a 66 nova chassis and some work on the motor but that’s about it for now.
  23. I reckon it looks like a mini cooper
  24. That colour the vette is is nice
  25. The kit manufacturer is DDA and I don’t think there is a piraña capri kit in Austraila these are the boxes to look for
