  1. Eric O is a real stand up guy and fantastic Mechanic. Really enjoy watching his videos and seeing him work.
  2. I don’t know if his blazer would’ve came from the factory with those colors. Hawkins police may have bought it and painted it their colors and put the graphics on it. I just picked this kit up yesterday and was thinking of painting it in Tamiya racing white which is sort of an off white and was going to do Tamiya Tan for the other color.
  3. Thank you for the kind words Jeff… I always thought these trucks were cool looking but I love any old Cab over. Kit was a lot of fun and actually very little trouble in assembly !
  4. I built this kit last year and as I recall there were no part numbers. You have to just use the not so great pictures in the instructions. I do recall someone saying on the old big rig kits the parts are numbered on the back of the actual kit box where they provide a black and white pictures of everything inside
  5. Thank you all. I did a build up of the AMT Ford LNT8000 Plow truck Last year. If you guys are interested I can find some pics and post that too.
  6. Painted the cab using MCW lacquers. For the flat bed I primed with Mr Surfacer Mahogany. I used different wood tone craft paints to do the stakes along with different brushes to try to achieve the wood look. The rest of the weathering is all done with craft paints and various layers. I really like how this one turned out.
  7. Good work. I like the colors.
  8. Yes the steering wheel is horrible. I did use it though but you can easily substitute a different one.
  9. Stunning build Luke. That thing is out of this world. The patina looks so real and the detailing on the engine is amazing.
  10. Nice work Mike. The Body color really pops with that blue interior!
  11. Thank you! It was a fun kit. I believe the previous release of this kit that comes with the go Kart has all the stock parts! I wasn’t a big fan of the wheels on this version but the red decals make them pop in my opinion
  12. Body done in Tamiya TS-102 Cobalt Green and roof was done in TS-26 pure white. Then cleared in TS-13. Kit goes together well and has some very cool decals that are reminiscent of the 80s. Thanks for looking 😁
  13. Beautiful Work Mark. That blue is stunning and every little detail really pops
  14. Very cool build. Definitely looks like something I could see rotting in a field somewhere in the midwest
  15. Thanks everybody I’m really enjoying sharing my builds with the forum and seeing everybody else’s amazing work!
  16. Definitely looking forward to The scorpion, nova , hurst olds since I’ve never had the pleasure of building one and the Chevy Extreme. The Cougar also intrigues me but the hot wheels packaging and it being molded in red is a turn off. Wondering if you can build it stock? The 69 Chevelle I would not even give it a second look because of the much superior revell one.
  17. Thanks Mike, no clear and I didn’t even polish it ! Just sprayed 2 wet coats of MCW enamel and put in the dehydrator for a few days.
  18. You know what you are absolutely correct it was the 66 chevelle which was the Lindberg kit! I also have the Revell 67 in my stash id love to do in a butternut yellow maybe. 🤔
  19. Clean builds , they make a very nice duo.
  20. Nice! Look forward to seeing it. I’m sure it will come out looking great!
  21. Thank you! The wheels are straight from the kit I just black washed them
  22. Beautiful build 👍🏻
  23. Painted with MCW Nassau Blue metallic enamel, no clear coat. I thought it was close enough to the factory correct Marina Blue paint for that year. Went with the blue interior which I used tamiya acrylics for and the white side stripe decals on the body. IMO this is one of AMTs better offerings it went together exceptionally well I had zero fitment issues, I believe it’s an old Lindberg mold. Thanks for looking 😁
