Wow! The level of detail and quality of finish are top notch.

Good work! I have this kit in a different livery and can confirm the molded detail is underwhelming and the suspension is fiddly. Your extra work really brings it to life. -
If you already use Scalefinishes you can email them the paint code to request colors that aren't on the site. They will send a PayPal invoice, so let them know if there are other colors you want in the same order. When I got a custom color it was no extra charge and shipped within a couple days of paying.

I finally got my hands on my holy Grail kit, the Profil24 1956 Jaguar D-Type Le Mans winner. Looking at the parts I can tell quite a bit of work will be needed, especially to get the hood to line up with the body, but it has the basis for a beautiful model. Funny enough, I had mentioned this kit to someone last year and they said maybe it would show up on eBay. Sure enough, that's where I found it, and even managed to pay a bit less that it cost new. I also received a few 1/43 kits directly from BBR in Italy. The are impressively detailed and only cost $35 each after shipping.

It looked great in the WIP and even better now that it's done. The shine on that paint is awesome.

It's the first time I've seen this kit and you did a great job building it. For the flags you can check model ship or armor building forums, they have a few ways of doing it. One is to paint or decal it on to a piece of aluminum foil. Another is to print or paint on tissue/rice paper and use diluted PVA glue to shape it.

It looks like ScaleMates has the instructions posted for this kit: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/aoshima-064351-82-delorean-dmc-12--1543041

Wow! The trim level of your subject may be bare bones, but the level of detail you put in certainly isn't. So many little things that add to the realism of the model. You did a great job on the paint work too.

This year I finished five cars and I'm pleased with how they turned out. I also added over 30 kits to the stash, so I'll have to try to finish even more in 2025. 😅 Toyota Celica 1600ST (1/24 Hasegawa) Lamborghini Miura P400 SV (1/24 Hasegawa) Scion FR-S/Toyota 86 Rocket Bunny (1/24 Aoshima) Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 (1/32 Aoshima) Mazda FD3S RX-7 Spirit R (1/24 Aoshima)

Great work! I've seen a lot of the Z-tune kits painted in Midnight Purple, but I think this is my favorite. -
I'm interested in hearing about the updated part when you get it. I have one of these airbrushes and I noticed it sometimes feels like the air delivery is hesitating, I'm wondering if this part is the cause. Other than that issue it's a good brush. The materials and finish are as good or better than my GSI Creos brushes.

Hello everyone! I've been reading the forum and liking posts for a while but haven't posted anything. I mostly build imports and exotics in 1/24-1/25 scale, but the cool builds I've seen here have expanded my interests. Below are a few models I've finished this year. If you were at the 2024 ACME show you may have seen them on display. I plan to post some full RFI threads in the future.
