  1. Go old school and run without fronts! lol ........or put wedge brakes on the front!
  2. I'm going to do a few small builds while I try to decide my next big project (most likely the GSMT Brockway 361 which is on order).I got this Revell 80 Ramcharger at last years NNL East,,I was going to put my 5.9 Cummins in it but have other plans for that engine. This will be an out of the box build except I'm building it as a 74 Plymouth Trail Duster with a 3D print grille/hood and emblems .I shaved off all the Ramcharger trim and badges and got the body painted over the weekend .I used some Duplicolor rattle can touchup paint from the 90's I have a bunch of colors left from that period when I was building,,all new,,still good! . Tomorrow I have to take a new truck up to Binghampton,N.Y. ,,,looks like the weather will be ok .
  3. Ron,, try loosening up the glue joint where the S cam bracket goes at the backing plate,,,from your pic it looks like you should be able to have the middle of the chamber right at the top spindle/kingpin and not interfere with the steering
  4. 3D Concepts ,,,she's all done Randy,,it's in "Under Glass"
  5. Thanks bud ...and thanks for your help with the console and PTO !
  6. ...........front push bumper with rubber done ,,,bumper filler and winch mount fabbed up ,,painted and in the dehydrator,,winch line guide rollers next to be made and painted
  7. Your brake chambers are ok ,,maybe just kick 'em up a tad if ya can,,otherwise good to go
  8. Hang in there Gary,,,things will work out for the best
  9. Great job Zip!!!
  10. Nice build Walter!
  11. ..............I'm just blown away with that Francis !!! "walks away sulking and goes back to playing with Legos" 😛 lol
  12. I've made my own with Evergreen Clear sheets CLEAR ORIENTED POLYSTYRENE SHEETS - Evergreen Scale Models
  13. Just build up the Revell kit like a glider,,,complete ,paint and everything, except for the diffs and suspension,,build up the wrecker body ....then do the math,,you can paint your add on once you figure it out and just nail it in then,,,that's how I do my frame stretch/shorten
  14. I've been looking for one of those too Lee,,the mixer kit was a DM800 I think the last time that was issued was in the 90's,that's why I jumped on this ,it's been out of production for awhile ,,I think I'll build this up as a flat bed after a truck I worked on owned by Dennis Crowley,he hauled coil steel back in the 80's
  15. ....................on a side note I picked this up on Ebay ,,,haven't seen one of these in awhile
  16. Mirrors are on ,bumper is primed and ready for painting then rubber mudflap material to be attached ,,the winch will pay out above the bumper like the 1:1 so it doesn't have to be cut out
