Thanks Roger......yeah ,,I have 3 different diameter rolls of solder and some real small stuff for electronics . No dehydrator I would wait a good few days ,,,,I picked up a cheap Chinesium dehydrator on Amazon,,, I use it all the time especially with the Revell Chrome Spray now ,, I use a lot of MCW enamel too so that shortens up the wait time substantially,,,, I'll shoot color and then the clear the next day

I got spoiled I guess,,the last 2 orders I had in about 2 weeks !

Pretty much stalled on this one until STS gets me the decals,,,,been a month ,,,I'll take some pics of the chassis and post em later

I was gonna say I've used solder in situations like that,,,just depends on how critical the diameter needs to be ,,I do a lot of solder headers

I've had the same issue (sometimes) with Tamiya white , got the best results with Tamiya light gray primer and then light coat-flash-light coat --then dehydrator for 4-6 hours ,then hit it again . On other stuff that I need white I use Vallejo white primer then hit that with either Tamiya flat, semi gloss or gloss clear ,I usually use this method for white interiors,,,headers and stuff

................stage 1 of paint ,,,after this bakes ,,have to tape it off at the body side feature lines and run the green as a more defined "panel" to the front ,,,the paint was a guess,,,close enough!

.........I know ,I know I said I was going to do the Lyles 'cuda,,,it's in the pipeline,,,but I've got an AWB itch I gotta scratch! I saw this car when it was 1st shown at Englishtown good 10+ years ago,,Walter Frey was announcing that day ,,,so it's on the bench,,,I got STS working on the decals should have them soon..I'm using the Moebius 65 AWB Plymouth,I've started on the chassis,,,,removing the torsion bars and control arms and fitted a straight axle so far.Only difference I'm using a tube axle where the actual car had a beam
