Thanks Roger,,like I said I should have built up the engine completely first or at least with the intake and carbs on and then used that in the chassis mockup ,,, the front stance looked good to go with just the block in there during fitment

MCW Rallye Green Metallic enamel,I used the AMT 69 GTXand shaved off all the trim/moldings added the post and I have a 69 Road Runner grille coming from Shapeways .I have a 3D print A12 hood scoop to put on

That looks great! That's the stance I had hoped for with the McCandless car but I didn't take the mock up far enough ,not enough engine-to-hood clearance ,,,looked good with the long block during test fitting though...lol . When I do the Whisnant Duster I'll use the COMPLETE engine

I used the reissue MPC Demon body on the Nova Pro Street kit chassis narrowed Dana 60 from the GTX Pro Street kit and the Hemi was from odds and ends in the parts bin

The ones I got from STS look pretty good ,,I only got the side panels and C pillar ,,nothing for the roof/trunk/hood -
I'll take some today

Herb's Demon is a wrap,, I had to compromise on the front end attitude a little in order to get everything under the hood,,,lol. .Came out ok I guess , I think I'll use that Pro Street Nova tubbed floor pan for Whisnant's Duster too

Probably going to be the next build ,I got some "Tawny Gold" from MCW which appears to be a close match
