I have a few aftermarket front axles in the parts dept.,,I'll have to check them with the kit axle..........so the hood has to be shaved off a bit where it meets the cab cowl also ?

Gary,I have that in my pile yet to do,,, I understand that the front axle in the kit is a bit on the wide side?

...........drive axles,air ride and brake chambers for today,,,shot Alclad on the wheels and other bits

MCW paints,,, the red is Chrysler Engine Red which is a match for IH Red , the white is basic Gloss White and Antique Silver ,all enamels

Roxbury had Hortons at one time,I don't know if they still do or not,,looks good ! The tapered roof would be a Braun I believe

Lee,you might have had the "Tailored Torque" "Fuel Squeezer" 365 HP

..................powertrain,radiator and crossmembers in the frame ,,front axle assembly along with Auslowe brake chambers and slack adjusters

no pics....pretty much Italian> green ,red,white,dulux gold striping

..........that thing is gonna look sweet,,,,I can almost hear that 345 backfiring now ! lol

........I was going to black wash the inside of the wheels but I was afraid it would f'-up the Alclad

........got the redlines today from Hobbylinc ,,,I found a better set of Road Wheels, more correct looking for a 69 with the brushed stainless trim rings,,also found the proper air cleaner decal ....installed radio antenna...she's a pre-January 69 car-no headrests...I'm gonna say she's done

We worked on a small fleet of these back in the late 70's early 80's ,Roma Foods ,all Detroits I remember them when they were new , good trucks!

................ the old 2 stroker done,painted IH Red and mated to the Roadranger ,,, cab shot Fleet White and in the dehydrator,,,,moving on to frame

For being over 50 years old the kit is in great shape,,vent window frame was broken on cab,,fixed,,,,the decal sheet doesn't look too good though ,,,,lol . I was tempted to put the Auslowe 12V-71 in it but I might do that to the 4070A Round2 kit instead

Model Roundup said they just hit the West Coast and Round2 should start distribution pretty soon

Coronet is 99% done ,,waiting on redline tires .I was going to do that White Freightliner wheelstand truck but I picked this up on Ebay about a week or so ago and I'm gonna start this instead ,,do it pretty much stock but plumbed/wired ,etc .I also have the Moebius smooth side trailer that I'll do to match , along the lines of this along with IH logo decals

...................chassis work and exhaust done ,under hood details done , just have to find a horn in the bin and stick that on ,,redlines should be here Friday ,,then clean her up and done
