  1. I was going to correct the wheelbase a bit,,,it's wonky,,,,but decided just to build it as is ,,,I wouldn't buy another one
  2. Poff's is a wrap,,,all I can say about the kit is the body molding is great,,no flash ,,chassis pretty much a step or 2 below basic ,,lol same with the engine.I threw some bits of wire at it for brake and fuel lines,,cobbled up a steering box ,,didn't use the fenderwell headers,,they just didn't look right so I made some out of solder . Used a set of chrome stock steel rims on the slicks and the decals I made. Don't know if I'm gonna do Lyles 'cuda next or what,,,I got STS working up a set of decals for an AWB Mopar with a straight axle so if they come in soon I might do that ,,,decisions,,,,,decisions ?
  3. Holding off on the Chadwick car ,,,went another direction when I found a picture of this 65 I had >
  4. I'm getting better and better making them,,,,and I'm technologically challenged! lol! ?
  5. Got a picture of a different version of the car

  7. ...........this is the new direction with the 65 Chevelle,, I bought all my speed equipment for my GTX and Duster,,and a mini bike! at Van Iderstines and I remember the picture of this car on the wall,,never got to see it run at E-town and could only dig up a few fuzzy pics online ,,made my own decals,,I took some liberty on the hood and rear deck, the rest will be out of the box build with details added .Guessing the one pic is before Ken put the Puffer on and altered the wheelbase,,,lol
  8. I just shot my mailbox with Rustoleum,,came out great! ?
  9. That blue Chrysler is sweet! Is that an old JoHan kit?
  10. I recall M&G Convoy delivering all the Chrysler products around by me,,I think Ryder bought them out
  11. He's got some nice stuff!
  12. I decided to go a different route with the Chevelle after finding a pic I had of a local (to me) 65 Chevelle,,,,,and it's blown,,,,,,,,,,,,stay tuned......Ill save the Chadwick decals for another 65
  13. I was gonna start the Ronald Lyles 'cuda,,I got most of the parts..... but I had this on top of the pile,,it was easier to dig out,,,lol . I've had the decals for awhile,,I'm pretty sure Chadwicks 65 was Candy Apple Red,,,,if not chime in,,,and I believe it always ran with carbs ,,never was injected Any good pictures of the actual car post away,,I only found one online ....I'm a Mopar guy so searching for Chevvie pics is troublesome ?
  14. That came out nice Zip
  15. That's gonna look good Ron,,,where did you get that chassis?? I couldn't find muurcreations on Ebay
  16. She's done,,,did some light chalk weathering,,,built up one of Jamie's (Moluminum) 4-71's I had as a rebuilt unit and stuck it on a pallet made from coffee stirrers . Printed out a service manual and put it in the cab. So the back story is circa 1972,,Andy's been a road guy for for 30 years ,,likes it ,,never wanted to be stuck in the shop,,his 65 Ford was up for replacement and he was supposed to get a new one,,but he said no thanks,,,I'm gonna retire with this girl,,,,,and with that he was on his next call to a customer with a rebuilt 4-71
  17. ..............the Chinese might buy Chrysler/Dodge from Stellantis ,so it would make sense they might make a move on Model Cars Magazine ..lol can't believe how much faster it is!
  18. Nice job! I gotta build mine one of these days ,,,,she be getting a Detroit though
  19. Up on the bench ,another inbetweener while I gather stuff for the Ronald Lyles 'cuda Pro Stock . Johnson & Towers Detroit Diesel Allison service truck. MCW White enamel/homemade decals / urethane clear . Out of the box build with some details. I was thinking about a small crane mounted in the bed ,but this is only a single rear wheel so....... I might build a 12V-71 and put it on a skid in the back though,,,,lol !
