Coronet is 99% done ,,waiting on redline tires .I was going to do that White Freightliner wheelstand truck but I picked this up on Ebay about a week or so ago and I'm gonna start this instead ,,do it pretty much stock but plumbed/wired ,etc .I also have the Moebius smooth side trailer that I'll do to match , along the lines of this along with IH logo decals
  2. ...................chassis work and exhaust done ,under hood details done , just have to find a horn in the bin and stick that on ,,redlines should be here Friday ,,then clean her up and done

  9. I'll have to make a grille extension for the hood latch ,,,,have to check the parts bins maybe something is laying around
  10. ..........engine installed , body mounted...bumpers installed .........the center console top has the 68 on it,,I should have done a wood grain insert for it used in 69 and up

  12. That looks like a Wheel Coach style grille on that rig .,,,,,,,,,, I retired from VCI Emergency Vehicles (Horton) back last July,,my son works there also,,they just got the FDNY contract back ?
  13. That's gonna be sweet ! ,I have a Fleetstar cab from AITM thats been sitting around for awhile ,, are you going to open up the hood? The casting of my Fleetstar is super thick ,,don't know what I'm going to do ,,the version I have has the tilt nose,,I'll take a pic of it tomorrow

Installed the grill....found an R/T emblem in the parts dept.,,,,think that was in a Revell Landy Charger kit........the tailite lenses were missing but I still had the surround so I filled the openings with epoxy and shot it Stop Light Red .....installed ........... engine complete ready to drop in the K frame ...I didn't have the proper air cleaner pie pan so I fudged one up with some old Cady decals
  18. Cut out the damaged area and glue in a piece of Evergreen sheet styrene ,you can get their assortment pack,sheets of different thickness and a couple black sheets in the last one I got ,then contour sand to match, you can apply a skim coat of putty and feather it in with the rest of the cowl

My 68 GTX was GG1 Green,green vinyl top and green interior ,,,with green stripes ...my 69 Coronet was painted 1970 Lemon Twist but was an original F8 Green car ,my 72 340 Duster was Chestnut Brown . Green was the "in" color back then .....didn't you have an Avocado toilet/sink /bathtub and tile in your house ??? lol! ?

  22. ..............shot some Alclad today,,finished the Bare Metal,, painted some odds and ends,,started engine assembly and wiring .I was going to use the side glass from the GTX but I would have to cut too much out of the interior tub ,so I'll leave them out,,the rear window and windshield fit perfect,,,flocked the inside of the roof for headliner and interior tub floor

My S&M kits were all white plastic,,,and also the 2 Pro Street re-issues I bought a few years later were also molded in white ,I got my S&M kits at Avenel Hobbies back in '92 (no longer in business) ,Randy the owner had invited Ronnie to make an appearance at the shop (this is when Ronnie was touring with his Pro-mod 64 Comet) .Randy had about 50 of the JoHan S&M Cudas stacked on a table ,,pretty good crowd ,,,Ronnies hauler took up most of the parking lot though,,,lol it was a small shop right on Rt1 ,,,good crowd though ..I remember it like yesterday. I also had 2 of the JoHan S&M Superbirds ,,they were also in white
