Completed last night, Sept. 24,2011...7th finished model of 2011 for me! I was inspired to build this after seeing the van in at least one episode of Batman on TV. Added the rear roof and sides from a MPC Dodge Tradesvan to the Lindberg Little Red Wagon kit. Added the phone from AMT 63 Galaxie kit to the dash on a shelf, photo-reduced newspaper on the engine cover, and tissue and thread 'parachutes' in the rear. Rearview mirrors from AMT Peterbilt and some piano wire. Also posted in The Batcave CBP. Enjoy. More pictures here.

I've got this one...almost done, but had to strip the dark blue paint off of it a while back...didn't work out...haven't figured out what to do about the body colour on mine...perhaps I won't go dark blue again! It would look like yours!

Nice build...would love to see the chassis...the engine looks great in both pictures! Where in Quebec are you located?
-
Great colour choice!

For the Batcave CBP...nearly done.

Looks like I'll have to get that one! Clean build...nice colour combo.

Nice build...love the colour!

Nice models Joe! Wonderful gifts! Now the hardest gift you could give them is to kick the habit...it is a drug...but you can bet they will be thrilled even more if you were to do that for them, as tough as it is to do. Do it for them and yourself.

Looks great...I like it!

Actually, I thought I'd read that they used Mustang taillight bezels on the Deora exhausts... Dash and console look good...even the shifter. It's all part of the glitter of the show!! -

I like what I see John, except I have to agree with Ken...the copyright lettering between the rear wheel wells sticks out like a sore thumb! The Alclad in the engine compartment looks great as does the engine itself. I like the wheels and tires, too! -
Cool! I'll be watching this! Not to highjack, but to contribute to the sidebar on availability...I was able to order one from my LHS and it should arrive by the end of the month and I'm up here in Canada...(we're slower to get new kits...was also able to order the Batmobile glue kit yesterday and that should be in this week.)

SN95 build thread (in conjunction with the FOX thread)
Tony T replied to whale392's topic in Community Builds
Looks like I need to get my WIP backlog cleared up so I can pull out the SN-95s and FOXs I've got in the stash...plus a couple of other Mustangs, like a 2006 and 1965!- 106 replies

Interesting...the seat inserts are psychedelic! Neat-o! The headliner is also neat...Mustang taillights are they? Keep it going, Joe! JJ needs a hauler!! -
One little petition to please be patient.....

Us old guys will remember the term "Think before you speak". Nowadays it could be "Google before you Tweet". Typed words does not hold the level of communication in a spoken or face to face conversation. No body language, no change in speech volume or gate, no smile or smirk or gesture. Just words on a screen. Easy to misunderstand the real meaning intended. Another thing to think about...Don't take yourself too seriously. No one gets out alive. Life is too short...stop and smell the roses. Smile! -

Glad to hear you are moving along, Allen. My thoughts and prayers are with you...glad you are okay. -
Excellent, Doc...love it!! You and EYEGORE make a creative team!! Love all the UFO hunter equipment...will have to look for the Warhammer stuff at my LHS next time I'm there... One thing of note that jumped out at me...A military vehicle would not have a chrome mirror...the left mirror looks out of place as it's too shiny. A new mirror to replace one broken off, maybe? I like how the gumball base has a nice gunky look...Is it too late to get some of that gunk on the mirror??
