  1. Definitely captured the '89 styling cues!! Nice survivor!
  2. Good job on the decals so far!
  3. Nice! Great colour, John. The pictures are nicely composed, too. Really sets the car off nicely in the sunshine!
  4. Allen - Sorry to hear of the damage, but really it is just stuff. Your lives are most important! Stuff can be replaced. All the best in the days ahead.
  5. Thanks, guys! I appreciate the comments!
  6. I'd go with a darker green as black is too much of a contrast. Add some black to the paint you used maybe?? If you want to use black, find a real fine point marker, or flow some Detailer, or thinned black paint. You may need to wipe off some excess. Thanks for the comments on the SVO guys...it did have it's moments!! Once I got the front bumper and spoiler done, it was reasonably smoooooth from there!
  7. Man, Peter....I can relate with the hospital story...I wish your wife a speedy recovery and you a bit of a rest as well! The build looks great...I'd be lucky to get through the decals on that one!
  8. Nice looking build!!
  9. Thanks for taking time to comment on my build. It was a fun one! Thanks, too, John...the diorama is a work in progress...I can use it for pictures with the outside pretty much done and work on the interior when I feel like it. Plus, I keep adding things to the outside (loose car parts and things) when I find something I think would fit in!

  11. Nice save!! Good to see a revived glue bomb!!
  12. Wow, that is a nice replica...you did some great work there, Hugh!! Have you got the fender badges worked out yet? (I read through your build thread)
  13. The girls like it... Spice Girls, that is!! (Amazing what you can find on clearance!!) Enjoy!
  14. Here's the build in the FOX Community Build. Krylon Semi-Gloss Black, Tamiya flat grey interior, Martha Stewart Embossing Powder (pewter) for carpet, Plug wires, Tamiya Gunmetal on the wheels, aluminium tubes cut and polished for exhaust tips, opened the empty driving light holes in the bumper, as well as the hood scoop. Used decals from the recent release (thanks friend for the donation!). Here are some pictures: More pics at photobucket here. Thanks for looking
  15. One more...just because I like you guys!!
  16. And now...for your viewing pleasure...the completed Revell '85 SVO Mustang!! It isn't perfect, but I'm happy with the end results! (Link to the rest of the pictures here.)
  17. So, here are the in progress shots from Sat & Sun...
  18. Wow...quite the stable!! I've never owned one...maybe one day!
  19. I get MCM from my LHS...160 hasn't reached this neck of the woods yet. Soon, I'm sure!
  20. 84 GT Turbo under restoration, as well??? Wow, that is dedication!! I knew you had a few 1:1s, could remember how many and didn't realize the extent of the work being done...just 2 under resto, or are you trying to make them all drool-worthy?? There's a Fox 'Stang for sale around the corner from me, it's a 4 eye..I think 83 or 84 by the grille. It's got a custom paint scheme (3 tone, silver with 'burple' and black) that I'm not too keen on, so didn't look closely (not that I have the $$$ either). It doesn't look like it's moved since spring and it's sitting on grass which is growing up under it (moisture trap!). I'll grab a picture if I think of it.
  21. Wow, Mike...that is sweet!!
  22. Some very cool works of art there!! Wow!!
  23. Wow, the oil cans are great!! The buildings look good, too!
