  1. Cool...I guess the only tools they'd need is a big tube of glue in the corner!! Being a custom shop, a tube of putty as well, I suppose!!
  2. I've got that on my to-do list...I picked up the one molded in medium red plastic (red background box, with a black model). I really like that green on there.
  3. Sorry for your loss, Harold.
  4. Nice line up, Kevin!
  5. Nice job so far! Looks great!
  6. Nice looking build, Nick...the interior is fabulous!
  7. Fabulous! There is so much that is nicely done, I don't know where to start, really! Nice job!
  8. Very nice!
  9. I'm 48 and still play with Hot Wheels!!
  10. Great paint choice! The cab looks great!
  11. Great start, Matt! Keep at it!!
  12. I'm with you on that, Rob...really thought this thread would have been more active, considering the initial enthusiasm. Looks good, Randy!

All considered, that isn't too bad. I'm glad to see you are still enthusiastic for the project, which is good news for us watching in the sidelines here!
  14. Thanks! Either way...

You could call it...Gee Tee gO! That's my suggestion! Build looks great so far!!
  16. I built a 1/24 scale helicopter before...Hobby Craft Hughes 500D. Basic, but builds nicely. I did it with RCMP Police decals. Rotor and tail blades rotate.

Oh, man...That is just awful...sorry that happened, but it sounds like you will make the best of a bad situation, and fix a few things you didn't like...will keep checking, as this is a fabulous build, even in pieces!
  18. Very nice, Sam! I like it a lot! That stove is flat out cool!

Great job, Danny...The subtlety of the details is what really makes them pop. Like has been said - if I didn't know it was a model, I'd be thinking it was a real scene.
  20. I will, for sure!
  21. I hear you, Mike. Seems that there is a real discrepancy with shipping to us Northerners. Costs me $12.41 to ship a kit to the US (cheapest from the post office). Same kit shipping here from the US...just under $6... Check a few sites online, and see the shipping within the US (FREE) and to Canada ($25) on a $3 item...Trouble is, buying within Canada isn't much better. We can be gouged within our own borders sometimes! My wife was trying to find something online, and she wanted to try to buy from a Canadian supplier. A supplier she found was shipping from Canada to the US cheaper than within Canada! Made no sense! It ended up being significantly less to buy from a US supplier, as the item, and the shipping were less, and the exchange was in our favour for a change!! Boggles the mind, don't it?!?!?
  22. Ha! Cool start!! This is going to be awesome, one Canuck to another!!
  23. When is this heading to CAM? I've been meaning to get there anyways, so I'd really like to see this in person. Looks great, John!
  24. Nicely done, Virgil! If Harry doesn't like it, well, then send it to me! I'd help you out!
