  2. To all of you sitting in the theater tonight we have Little Jimmy Jones tickling the ivories in accompaniment to our silent movie "The Gold Rush"
  3. Do you believe in magic in a young girl's heart, how the music can free her whenever it starts, and it's magic if the music is groovy it makes you feel happy like an old-time movie.
  4. Year after year they make wallets smaller and smaller so it looks like they have more in them.
  5. I'm not a fan of Rustoleum either, in fact I just complained to them about their product and they sent me a refund in the form of a check. As to your question about the dehydrator I use one on most paint jobs. Purchased this one on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08M4FD4WR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You will need to cut out the center of a few trays to fit a model but the unit works well. 105 degrees for about 2 hours is about the average I run it. The time depends on the type of paint.
  6. Mediocrity was the name of a monkey that used to hang around the shop and do nothing but pass the time and gas.
  7. I was hoping to wrap the Duster up before the end of the year but I have a couple of things keeping me from that goal. Have not been able to determine what the original plate number was so for now it has generic plates installed. Also I want to add the beach pass that is in the left rear window in the pic as well as registration stickers for the windshield. Somewhere I have a vent window from one of my other cars that has a beach pass still on it. Can't find it at the present time so that I can get a scan of it. So for the time being the Duster will get put to the side until I can resolve those issues and perhaps come up with a few more, like the smudge I now see on the rear tail panel or the red spot on the grill.🙄 The pics show everything. Until then here are some pics as it stands today. Happy New Year Everyone 🎆
  8. Nice save, always a favorite kit of mine.
  9. Work progresses on the Galaxie. Started building up the 390 and got some Ford Blue on it. The detail on this is fairly decent, much better then what the AMT kit would have had. As it originated in a truck I will have to make a few minor adjustments. For one the PVC valve is on the drivers side front while on the car it's passenger side rear. The steering wheel finally arrived and got added to the dash that had been waiting impatiently. Column shifter installed as well. Also decided to add some extra detail to the interior by putting Feefee on the rear seat. Printed up some Poodles trying to get the size correct. The one in the middle "was just right". I left the resin unpainted but added some details to the face and applied Tamiya black and grey accents to the body. No, the dog did not make that puddle. Good dog, now go sit down. And finally got out the BMF and started working on the trim. I switched over to the matte aluminum for this build and I do think it looks more realistic then the chrome. However I found it didn't adhere all that well. I even went over the body with some prep-sol to make sure that wasn't the issue. The adhesion got better as I got closer to the center of the sheet. I did the front and rear window frames with the BMF but switched to Molotow for the side window trim, emblems and the wheel openings. I will go back to the BMF for the side molding once everything dries. That's all for today, tune in next time same 🦇 channel.
  10. Hood would be marred by more then dimples, the three of them put together weigh more then a small block Chevy.
  11. Brian, I appreciate the kind words. Thanks Joe, sometimes you win.
  12. People who need people are the luckiest in the world as long as they have a brain in their heads.
  13. Opinion seems to be that we have gone off the rails and need to get this story back on track
  14. Bill went out tiger hunting with his elephant and gun, only problem he didn't bring any bullets but he did bring lunch so they had a nice picnic.
