  1. Inventive use of the Olds, who would have thought of a Delahaye engine? Well done.
  2. All of the above. Really nice clean work!
  3. I like it! Just the right amount of dirt.
  4. Nice! I think this is the first one of these I've seen built, looks great.
  5. I prefer the cleaner lines of the '55, but as noted above the '57 is the one everyone remembers even though it was outsold by Ford that year. What happened to all those Fords?
  6. Good question! Thanks for stepping up anyway .
  7. What an awesome display of historic race cars! Very impressive.
  8. Very cool! I wonder why the Olds and Buicks of that era didn't do well? Same suspension set up as the Monte Carlo and Chevelle, difference in power plants?
  9. That's a beauty, well done!
  10. That is slick!
  11. Nice!
  12. Now that name is a blast from the past! Great work John.
  13. I like it. Don't often see this kit built in any form.
  14. Really nice, great foil work.
  15. Nicely done! Those Hudsons were dominating the tracks back then.
  16. Outstanding replica, thanks for sharing.
  17. I think it looks very nice, that yellow really stands out! On a light colored car, try inking in the panel lines before painting. It seems to darken them just enough to notice without jumping out at you. On dark colors I ink them after or don't even bother. Hope this helps.
  18. Ha! Must have been at Martinsville!
  19. Very nice work. I really like the Belair roof and trunklid on this, great proportions.
  20. Thanks! Where do you find Valspar? I haven't seen it around here.
  21. I want to replicate my new favorite "young gun" driver Ryan Blaney's #12. Any suggestions on a spray bomb color to approximate the eye-searing yellow on the Menard's car? I believe Stoney has decals for this.
  22. Great model! My neighbor had a black & white 210 sedan very similar to this.
  23. I agree, two outstanding replicas.
  24. Great paint and foil work!
