  5. I like your list Junkman , the resin guys have tried to fill many of those holes but price for their time and work keep a lot of builders away from them. Never hurts to wish .
  6. Think Harry should send them his idea with the round headlights , that s an amazing improvement Harry . Thing is so ugly I would want to hide it somewhere out of site and not show it to the would LOL Just my opinion
  7. Wow what a change from the one us old guys grew up with http://news.yahoo.co...7d80bbb1f7734ac
  8. You got 96% (46 right out of 48). oh well been along time.
  9. Well right now it be my 08 3500 Dodge , its my work horse .
  10. I like your choice on the color combination , under the hood detail is great and being done as a street stock version makes it even better love it .
  11. I'm with you 71/72 was a really nice car , I've owned one as well as a 66 and a 96 Rev , what a waste of a wonderful looking automobile
  12. I've always like the idea and have done a few , think its a cool idea to know a little something about the model later down the road
  13. I feel like there was more going for it than against it , at $120,000 I feel it was a bargain.
  14. Franklin Mint did a nice die cast of the 55 Pontiac convertible and I have seen a really nice complete resin kit on E bay as well from time to time
  15. Seen this kit on e-bay this week and almost bought it , best deal going on a 70 Charger till some one comes up with a New kit of it .

  17. Wow that was like 50 years ago I got my 1st. model , and yes I remember it well , my dad had to help me and my brother put them together it was a 57 Ford with the wood grain sides . Thought it was so cool. Been wanting another one but they are so pricey .
  18. Sure am sorry to hear that news , never meant them but have pass some e mail back and forth and they always seem like really nice folks . I was about to place a really large order but as mentioned I wait till we see how everything turns out.
  19. I ran across this and found it interesting what this guy ( Scott Wade ) can do with a dirty car , wonder if his neighbors wash theirs cars or call on Scott to do his magic . Check it out LOL http://www.dirtycarart.com/
  20. Well said Gary , your a guy with a heart.
  21. I would agree full heartily with you Jim , The Mercury line was so over looked both then and now , 1951 to 1970 ( Mercury) was full of interesting subjects , The modeling companies got carried away with pony cars and muscle cars. Don't get me wrong I loved them as well as the next guy but I had a passion for many of those land yachts as well.
  22. Well if your talking about guys that can make a finish model look like it should , then only 3 or four come to mind that sell on e bay.
  23. My 1st. car was a 56 Pontiac Star Chief 2dr ht , it was white with a blue interior , ohhhhhhhh what I wouldn't give to have it back . Never had any picture of it wish I did.
  24. Pre 70ie American iron , Mopars over all were and still are my favorites .
  25. I had put a few car there but no action at all , I would maybe try again. emodelcars don't like Firefox but IE works fine , the site needs to be updated and promoted. It wouldn't hurt if member use it in their sig. on other sites or added it to their list of links on fotki or any public site.
