  1. Slow poke was so slow, even the snails passed him by.
  2. Our prayers are with you Mike; hope everything goes well for your brother
  3. So I guess seeing out the back window isn't important?
  4. Self checkout machines are dumb. Got a load of older Muscle Machines mags (see what did you get today model car related) from value ville but they only got those dang machines and no actual cashiers. Forgot my wallet so I had to owe my dad after, and he was a little short on cash, so while paying that machine one of the ten dollar bills had a hole in it so the machine wouldn’t take it and the workers there wouldn’t change the bill so we had to switch to the debit card to pay the rest of it. Total BS that they wouldn’t change the bill though.
  5. Got a working 1965 Balloon Flashlight for 2.99; research showing one such flashlight is worth $27; very pleased.
  6. A buck 47 for each from value village and every fifth one was free so we got 15.
  7. Now that’s how it’s done; wow. Love the red stripes and redline tires and the vinyl top
  8. Wow that’s cool
  9. And it’s a Ford; a GMC or a Chevy would make more sense.
  10. That is pretty cool, especially with the Shasta Airflite trailer
  11. Holy smokes that’s beautiful. What scale is it?
  12. Yeah, nowadays I seem to notice it and go "that's odd" because if, for example, you want to make a diorama with some cars, you gotta be carefull about the realistic size, if you wish to combine different brands (like AMT and Revell cars). For me, I'm not terribly put off by that fact that if it was not the true scale, I wouldn't buy it. If it's cool I totally would, no matter whether the scale size is true or not.
  13. Just put the two side by side, the AMT is way longer, and a little bit taller than the Diecast, and remember, the AMT is 1:25 so it should be smaller than the Greenlight but it’s not, so I don’t believe it’s a true 1:24 scale
  14. Unfortunately we don't know anything about the car; my dad's father died 30 years ago and my great uncle didn't know he even had the Falcon; It's pretty interesting though; he couldn't have had it for very long; apparently he bought and sold cars regularily. Also had some very odd cars, like a 1966 Peugeot, and '72 Mazda, and probably lots more we don't know of.
