  1. 1985 Dodge Diplomat Salon Four Door Sedan RCMP(Royal Canadian Mounted Police) Cruiser in 1/24 scale. Note no third brake light on this one which showed up on the '86 model. Motormax does call it a '86 Diplomat on the floor and the box. A lot of Police cruisers of Ontario during that time would be called Plymouth Caravelle Salon so would have been nice if Motormax called them by their Canadian name. If you want your replica to be a true '86 then you just fabricate a third brake light. This is a Motormax die cast that I took apart and detailed. Completely painted engine bay using a combination of spray paint & brush paint, Decals made by Rays Kits based in the Netherlands, a few scratch built brackets, clamps, wiring, and hoses added, all chrome trim that Motormax originally painted silver were covered in Bare Metal Foil, completely painted interior with full carpeting and seat belts, roof liner, sun visor & dome lamp, windshield tint and hood vents highlighted with dilluted black paint, hood insulation, floor painted and detailed, and finally made brake lines with thin metal wires.
  2. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!
  3. @kelson Thanks! No fit issues with this kit. It is kind of like the old AMT Craftsman kit where the hood is a separate piece but there's no engine supplied with the kit.
  4. @stavanzerThanks for the compliment! I remember the Firestone tires installed on those would separate and cause rollovers. On the bright side this model truck will stay safe on my shelf and I'll make sure it doesn't rollover.
  5. 1995 Ford Explorer Limited...1/20 scale Lindberg snapkit that said no painting required on the box. However I went ahead & painted it.
  6. This is a 1/20 scale Lindberg 1993 Nissan Hardbody Duallie. I cannot recall seeing a Duallie of this truck in real life. Most rolling around were regular cab and crew cab with four wheels.
  7. @ea0863 Permanent blue marker also works for the windshield tint.

  11. This has to be one of my most enjoyable built models. 1991 Mercury Cougar Bostonian Edition with a vinyl top by Revell in 1/25 scale.
  12. I built an exciting car! A 1991 Mercury Cougar XR7. This 1/25 scale kit by Revell is really good with minimum preparation work needed due to near absent flash on parts & best thing is that all the parts fits like lego blocks. Had to do justice to this less collected & restored car, so spent a long time masking different areas of the body and adding weather stripping, plus the trims.
  13. Revell 1/25 scale 1991 Ford Thunderbird SC Coupe in Light Evergreen Frost Clearcoat Metallic.
  14. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!

  16. 1/24 scale Revell/Monogram 1978 Chevrolet El Camino Black Knight
  17. 1/25 scale MPC 1977 Plymouth Volare Road Runner
  18. @Bills72sj Thanks! That's the remnant of the friction mechanism which is missing a few gears. It no longer works, but I don't need it to work because I'm happy with the nice free rolling wheels. My understanding is the friction mechanism in those old promos were included to kind of replicate the sound of the engine when a kid is rolling the car.
  19. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!

  21. New build - 1984 Pontiac Fiero by MPC in 1/25 scale. Finished with SprayMax 2K clear coat.
