  5. Looks great!
  6. @WillyBilly Thanks! Motormax also made a Plymouth Horizon and I was fortunate to get one. I'll be detailing that one in the same way and once complete I'll share it here.
  7. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!
  8. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!
  9. @MusclecarsThanks! The MPC '80 Plymouth Volare Road Runner Fuzz Duster kit was reissued, but the MPC '77 Plymouth Volare Road Runner was never reissued. Round2 is doing a great job bringing old kits back to the store shelf so maybe one day we'll get the '77 reissued for the first time in nearly fifty years. I do have two '80 that I'll try to restore. I got the rebuilders because just like you said the reissued one which are '80 models, the last year for the Volare are getting pricey.
  10. @TyremanThanks so much! I love underappreciated cars and you'll see many more from me in the future.
  11. 1982 Chevrolet Cavalier Type 10 hatchback in Silver Metallic. It's a built up original dealership promotional model. The '82 promo was available in silver and black, but the similar '83 were all painted silver only.
  12. 1985 Dodge Omni GLH-T. Restored & detailed this 1/24 scale die cast by MotorMax. Well there's not way too much to detail on this. MotorMax did an excellent job with this model to begin with. The things I added are full interior carpeting, highlighting the mushroom shaped door locks and window cranks, installing seat belts, window tint, painting the engine bay to match body paint and then painting the rest of the stuff under the hood to make them look more realistic, under hood insulation, and making the antenna with metal wire. As the chassis was broken in many pieces I super glued the whole thing and coated with epoxy for strength inside, then painted the chassis flat black, and finally painted the gas tank and exhaust.
  13. 1985 Dodge Diplomat Salon Four Door Sedan RCMP(Royal Canadian Mounted Police) Cruiser in 1/24 scale. Note no third brake light on this one which showed up on the '86 model. Motormax does call it a '86 Diplomat on the floor and the box. A lot of Police cruisers of Ontario during that time would be called Plymouth Caravelle Salon so would have been nice if Motormax called them by their Canadian name. If you want your replica to be a true '86 then you just fabricate a third brake light. This is a Motormax die cast that I took apart and detailed. Completely painted engine bay using a combination of spray paint & brush paint, Decals made by Rays Kits based in the Netherlands, a few scratch built brackets, clamps, wiring, and hoses added, all chrome trim that Motormax originally painted silver were covered in Bare Metal Foil, completely painted interior with full carpeting and seat belts, roof liner, sun visor & dome lamp, windshield tint and hood vents highlighted with dilluted black paint, hood insulation, floor painted and detailed, and finally made brake lines with thin metal wires.
  14. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!
  15. @kelson Thanks! No fit issues with this kit. It is kind of like the old AMT Craftsman kit where the hood is a separate piece but there's no engine supplied with the kit.
  16. @stavanzerThanks for the compliment! I remember the Firestone tires installed on those would separate and cause rollovers. On the bright side this model truck will stay safe on my shelf and I'll make sure it doesn't rollover.
  17. 1995 Ford Explorer Limited...1/20 scale Lindberg snapkit that said no painting required on the box. However I went ahead & painted it.
  18. This is a 1/20 scale Lindberg 1993 Nissan Hardbody Duallie. I cannot recall seeing a Duallie of this truck in real life. Most rolling around were regular cab and crew cab with four wheels.
  19. @ea0863 Permanent blue marker also works for the windshield tint.
  20. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!
