    Here's my 1/25 scale JoHan 1977 Cadillac Coupe deVille in Naples Yellow with white Landau vinyl top and sunroof. Way too many hours spent restoring parts, repainting, & detailing. Body finished with clearcoat. For the interior the wood applique was made from dollar store shelf liner. Carpeting made from felt I got from Walmart. Chrome silver tone self adhesive vinyl car sticker from Canadian Tire and Molotow chrome pen used for brightwork. This car is equipped with a CB radio!

    You'll see a glue stain on the windshield and that's from the original builder. The car was partially assembled and unpainted when I bought it, and so I took apart whatever I could and restored the car. This Revell kit is the Skip's Fiesta Drive-In version.

    The car is a two door full-size retractable hardtop convertible, manufactured and marketed by FoMoCo. It's a Revell kit with multipart body which allows the builder to paint the car in two tone easily if one wishes to without the need to use masking tape. A few parts were scratch-built including the extension for the rear bumper that was made from a Coca Cola can. The spare tire came from the '62 Buick Electra kit. The side windows were made from a clear plastic packaging that contained a 1/43 scale Greenlight die cast car. The window sills are strips of Trim Brite Chrome Brite sold at Canadian Tire.

    Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated! @Chuckyg1Unfortunately these Charger 2.2 kits are not that easy to find. Perhaps that's why we don't see many built. If Round2 reissues this kit with fresh decals then chances are more people will build it. @drodgThanks for the info about the Collectible Automobile magazine article. Will check it out!

    Just completed 1/25 scale MPC 1981 and half Dodge Charger 2.2 Finished with SpayMax 2K clearcoat.

    Just completed AMT 1/25 scale 1979 Plymouth Horizon TC3 in Cadet Blue Metallic. Finished with SprayMax 2K clearcoat.

    This is a 1/25 scale JoHan dealership promotional model of a 1974 Oldsmobile Cutlass S that was dismantled, detailed, and put back together. The paint is the original Cypress Green Poly painted at the JoHan factory back in '74. I sprayed the body with SprayMax 2K clearcoat and later painted the vinyl top with flat black spray paint. This car is equipped with swivel bucket seats, luxurious deep pile carpeting, and a 8 Track player with good quality speakers.

    An old Jo-Han 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass kit modified into a 442. It used to be the rusty blue car in the last few pics. Decals from Rays Kits based in the Netherlands. Rims from Revell '83 Cutlass kit. Body paint is DupliColor Chilli Pepper Red Pearl. The T-top is done by spraying Tamiya Mica Blue Metallic. There's one 8 Track tape inside!
