  1. If its any constelation, the subjects I would like to see will never see the light of day either.
  2. A frie d in high school owned a firebird "GTA". It was a nice peppy car. I would've loved to have owned one.
  3. I think the odds of a re-issue are low enough to the point where-as the best option is to buy the bullet and purchase an original. I found one on kijiji a few weeks ago for 25 dollars, its a 1968, mind you. But they are out there somewhere.
  4. You think its possible to cut the bumper right the middle, remove some material from both sides, and re-glue?
  5. A few products that I use don't ship to canada , or is really expensive to ship. I usually take a trip to US once a year, except this one, and ship everything to a town just across the line. Sometimes its free shipping to a US adress, so it could be a viable option.
  6. This kit must've been farely advanced for its time. Most of the kits released before and after had one-piece floorpans. And another thing, if the wiper blades and arms were deleted, did the kit include them as seperate items?
  7. I can eloborate on this later. Easier if I uploaded a picture.
  8. Long wAy to go, but started foiling. Can only do a little at a time, get too nervous, and need to step away. I thought I had the photoetch for this but I do not. Shipping is crazy expensive to canada so wont be able to get one until I can travel to US, whitch won't be for quite some time. That said, I dont think I will add much from it. Maybe only the thunderbird logos. I think it looks cleaner without the trim .
  9. Badass.
  10. Love the color!

    1969 Buick Wildcat.

Thanks. Its dupli-color black primer with 2K Omni clear-coats.
  12. The thing that bothered me the most, even more that the other issues that were mentioned, was the location of the front turn indicators. They should be equidistant from the bumper and wheel arch. Its very close to the bumper on the MPCs.
  13. I built this one recently , and I can say that it is crude and has a few inacuracies. It can look good, but it would be nice if they fix a few of the issues if they reproduce it.
  14. I wonder what the story was about those bumpers. 1974 model would've needed to be equipped with 5 mile per hour bumpers. Those big bumper-ettes were enough to pass regulations?
  15. I was thinking the same thing. The solution might be to mask off and varnish the areas that require a wash.
