  1. Thank you kindly gentlemen for responding. Too bad someone in the 3D printing business has not taken the initiative and made a correction set. I would gladly pay half the price of a kit for that. Actually.. now that I think about it, I have one of these somewhere around here. Would this be a good option? I originally bought it for the Minilight wheels, so everything else should be there.
  2. So I have found a 69 Mach 1 on line that I would really like replicate in a scale model. I'm now committed in that I have already begun the process of ordering the necessary aftermarket items that will at least get me started. As I'm digging, I stumbled upon several articles here in the MCM forums pertaining to the egregious appearance of the 69 Mustang headlights. Long story short, it was bad enough that Dmitiri (D-Mold) made a resin correction set for it, but he has not been in business for many years. Upon further reading, it appears that Revell corrected the issue, and re-released the kit. I have the kit pictured below and took a photo of the part in question, and I really cannot tell if I have a corrected piece or not. Can you tell if it is? If it is *not* the corrected part, is there an accurate alternative available? I don't want to wait until the end of my project to realize my track terror restomod looks like it's about to cry. Thanks in advance!
  3. Agree with all the above... Not sure what's more cool..your cars..or the Garage. Nice work!

  6. You might try Googling : 1/24 Low Profile Semi Truck Wheels
  7. Fantastic job! Love the color!
  8. Absolutely sick build man! Outstanding!
  9. Any updates on this? Are these items still available?
  10. I'm interested as well... In fact, does anyone know where there are any aftermarket resin/photoetch parts for the AMT 69GTX/68RR?
  11. That looks fantastic! Care to share any additional details? What brand and color of paint did you use, and are the stripes painted or decals? Would like to get a set of white stripes myself...
  12. Welcome Curtis! Good to have you here!
  13. Are these folks no longer in business?
  14. Welcome to the forum Scott! Nice work on those! I'm especially intrigued by the Ford pickup! What kit is that and what all did you do to it?
  15. Right now...it's this. If I could just get my hands on a Cobra Daytona Coupe....or two.
  16. Welcome! And gorgeous paint work!
  17. Thanks so much! I'm stalled on it at the moment for a couple of reasons.. One being a suitable powerplant. I definitely like the look of the Shotgun Intake, but I want something along the lines of a modern EFI 429 or bigger, but totally doable in 1:1. I'll have to re-measure, but if I recall correctly, the AMT Edsel's engine bay (as it is molded) is actually quite 'cramped' for anything bigger than say a scaled 302/351. But I really want to retain the 'stock' engine bay appearance. My modified 'Cowl Induction' Edsel hood got damaged during a house move. Probably fixable, but would be much easier just to start over with a new hood. Need a source for the hood without having to buy an all new kit. Not sure how I'm going to tackle the interior aft of the doors. Thought about hinging the doors, but that would be a tremendous amount of challenging work from my perspective. As far as the 'bed' area... Adding additional seating? I also thought about possibly a nice wood floor from the trailing edge of the door sills back, mimicking the the panels on the exterior. But, at that point, I'm venturing into uncharted territory, hence my hesitation. The chassis pan has already been modified. I made cut outs for the NASCAR style large oval shaped,single-tube exhausts that will exit through the side of the car in front of the rear wheels. Prob going to be using either brass or aluminum tubing. Most of you will probably recognize the bright green parts I used from the 67 Chevelle "Max Rat" Pro-street, rear end and 4-link. The plan is to have IFS with coil-overs and massive disk brakes all the way around as well.
  18. Thank you for the warm welcome!
