  1. Nice work! Ever figure out what caused the paint issue on the original?
  2. I've purchased from Hooligan in the past.. 5 Stars for: Communication Customer satisfaction Shipping As far as quality, being one of my first purchases of 3D printed products, I'm not sure if his quality is lacking, or maybe I was expecting slide-mold injected Tamiya plastic. Your mileage may vary. What I was not happy about was the diameter of the wheels. They looked fantastic in the photos, but in reality *much* to big for my taste. To my dismay, Ive realized to my financial detriment, that the ideal wheel/ tire sizes I'm looking for are are scaled 18 or 19” fronts and 20 or 21" rears. What I believe I bought were the equivalent to 21" in fronts and 23" or 24" rears...
  3. Very very cool... Thank you very kindly for sharing that Gary! Off to look for some Evergreen sheet now. 😁
  4. Sky vermin... Rats with wings. The amount of fecal matter a group of 5 or 10 can leave behind is unbelievable, and they are rapidly overpopulating. They're disgusting. Would not surprise me one bit if some sort of pandemic 'bird flu' strain originates from Canadian Geese.
  5. Nice work so far! Very impressed with your scratch building skills. How did you execute the large metal overhead door?
  6. Anyone know if the above contact info is still valid? I have money to burn...
  7. Nice work! I have a 58 Edsel Sedan Delivery I'm stalled on, but I'm not sure how to tackle the interior sidewalls aft of the back seats. . Keeping an eye on this!
  8. Watching...
  9. No more WIP Pics? Seriously? I was watching... Living your best life based on 'likes' or what you perceive as 'interest' to others, is a dark, lonely and miserable road. Post anyway... Im confident that there's way more interest in your work than you realize. I don't have this kit yet, but I'm planning out my project for when it shows up at my mailbox, and what you are doing is more than likely the same thing I'm going to have to do to attain the look I'm going for on my build. I'm going for something like this: Keep posting my friend!
  10. Very cool! Been wanting to build a 250 GTO myself.
  11. Chat GTP is absolutely crazy... I threw out a couple of project ideas based on Dave Kindig's build style..... and....just.....well.... My brain melted.
  12. I recently ordered from him (approx 3mo ago?) and received everything in a timely manner. I will say though, in one instance I put everything in the 'cart' on the website and then got sidetracked and forgot to pay. When I returned, my cart was empty. He actually called me(!) to verify that I was not having tech issues on the checkout end. We had a pleasant conversation and once I figured out everything I had in the cart previously, I paid and everything transpired as well as I could have expected. So no issues here.
  13. Ok... I appreciate your concern. Thank you. I am going to give them time to return from vacay and get settled in before reaching out.
  14. Yeah... I have been away from the hobby for close to 10yrs, but returned seriously about a year ago, and this is the first I've seen/heard of the S & M Cuda! I'd definitely pick one of those up if I seen it on a shelf somewhere... Edit: They're currently pulling $125 on Fleabay. Speaking of FOMO and Fleabay... I have no problem spending that and more on decently detailed or curbside OOPTamiya/ Hasegawa/ Fujimi, or a cast resin Studio27/Profil24/ Alpha Model kit, but to drop that kind of cash on a OOP Revell/ Monogram/ AMT kit, is really hard for me to justify.... Does that make me wI3rd? 😂🤣
  15. Very nice! Thanks for sharing! I could actually see myself building that without any modifications at all!
  16. Have another photo available? Link is dead.
  17. I wish I myself could do that. I'm sure that's the preferred way to get your decals quickly. In my instance however, I made it known that I was unable to provide that, (nor do I have the time at the moment to invest in learning to do so), but he agreed to help and sent me an invoice, at which I promptly paid.
  18. Not even a primer/sealer will work? I thought that was the whole point of using a sealer?
  19. Thank you. I appreciate that. I deleted my FB account as well, so phone and email are my only contact options that I am aware of. Full disclosure...their phone number is in every email I received, but making a phone call vs sending an email (and this is solely my opinion) presents the attitude that I am throwing a tantrum and demanding to be at the front of the line ahead of everyone else in the queue. And that is absolutely not how I want to be perceived as a customer. It's just decals. I was happy to pay upfront because of all the positive statements made about STS. And because of those (and additional positive statements made in this very thread even! ), I would much rather have a sheet of sharp looking custom decals, instead of a refund. I paid, honor your agreement. That's literally all I'm asking.
  20. Thought I found a way to get away from the ads, but silly me, they were back in 10min.. *sigh*
  21. Who sells HOK for us modelers here in the US?
  22. @yellowsportwagon Build looks fantastic on my end. What color is that if you don't mind sharing? Looks gorgeous!
  23. Very, very cool! I might actually have to get something similar.
  24. I'll state on the record that I have paid...back in March no less, and after 20(!) email exchanges, I have still not received one email containing proofs, much less a screenshot of the work in progress. I'm trying my best to be patient and give the guy some slack, but clearly I'm not on the list of priority. I emailed him once again last Monday for a status update on my order. (Email #20 to be exact) and have not yet received a reply. He stated that he had a family emergency in our last email exchange a month ago, so I'm once again giving him the benefit of the doubt. But with each unanswered email, or reply without a status update, he's giving me less and less to work with, and my patience is wearing very thin at this point. If you are a friend of his, you might want to let him know that the guy in Oklahoma wanting the custom 'Ring Bros 69 Mach 1-'UNKL' decals, isn't real happy at the moment.
