  1. Welcome Bill! As a former truck driver, I say this very loosely.. *may* want to build a somewhat modern semi-truck..but not anytime soon LOL. I will say though that building a detailed version of the BJ McKay KW COE would definitely be something I would be interested in if the kit was priced right.. https://www.tenfourmagazine.com/content/2024/03/truckapedia/the-most-iconic-kenworth/
  2. Welcome to the forum Charles!
  3. Welcome to the forum Chasten!!
  4. Very nice!! I need to restock my collection of these I used to have. Dang me.
  5. @JP Models Absolutely stunning work! I actually have this exact build in the queue once I get my workspace set up and have all the needed items to get started. Thank you very much for mentioning the issues you had and how best to rectify them. Did you happen to share a WIP thread on it?
  6. Hello from the Central US! Well... I hope this post finds you all safe and well these days. For me...I'm a long time fan of MCM and lurker of the forum, and I'm happy to meet all of you. I'm finally starting to get back into this wonderful hobby of scale models...albeit slowly... after life events forced me to set it aside long-term in 2018. Now 3 House moves, COVID, and 8yrs later, I'm anxious to start building again, and build my collection back up. Currently, I'm in the process of getting the workbench organized, and begrudgingly loosening my grip on all of my trusty Model Master enamels I have used over the decades, and transitioning to Atom Acrylics (Fingers crossed) for all of the assorted interior colors I will need. The search for a new idiot-proof paint brand for all the exterior colors and clear coats I will need to acquire, hasn't even begun yet. As far as modeling subjects, I'm interested in all sorts of things. Hotrods/ Muscle cars/ Pro Street/ Pro Touring and anything Road Racing Motorsports related, SCCA, IMSA, GT, JGTC, etc., from the 1960's to current day is at the top of the list. As a former truck driver, semi trucks are not out of the equation if the price is right. I don't have much of a collection of completed builds. After building the Sunoco Corvette, I started this 58 Edsel Wagon project back around 2014, but had to shelve it until now. Anyhoo, I'm very much looking forward to making some new friends, possibly reconnecting with old ones, seeing the talent, being inspired, and exchanging new ideas and techniques. My hope is that you feel likewise. I'll see ya around!
  7. I really wish I could get my greezy mitts on one of these kits... I would absolutely love to build one.
