  1. @Ace-Garageguy No offense taken. I sincerely appreciate your time and insight. Thank you.
  2. Regarding the Firing order for a 90 degree block, this what Google handed me.. : The firing order for a Ford 90-degree V12 engine (like the ones used in 1936-1948 Lincoln and Zephyr models) is 1-4-9-8-5-2-11-10-3-6-7-12. This order is consistent for all years within that range. The cylinder closest to the front of the engine is typically considered cylinder #1.
  3. Fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge! Greatly appreciated!
  4. Well.. Whaddya know..All of my research has led be back to here.. 😄 That says a lot about the MCG Forums. 😎 Anyway... So for context: I've learned that Vertex Mags are often preferred due to their low maintenance, do not require a external power (battery) source to work properly, and fascinatingly (to me anyway) generate a hotter spark the higher the RPM's go. I am in the planning stages of wiring up this (see below) Ford V12 engine from Texas3D, and have a couple of questions regarding Vertex/Ignition Systems that I hope I can get answered. #1. Considering that this is replicating a EFI engine with Vertex Mags, can they realistically be swapped with the dual MSD 'Top Fuel Dragster' type Mags currently in use? Would or could someone do that real world? #2. Is each Mag exclusive to each bank of cylinders, i.e. no crossover on firing order? In other words, when wiring up the plugs, do the plug wires coming from, say the Mag mounted on the driver's side of the block, only connect to those plugs on the same side, correct? #3. Is there any other wiring (other than spark plug) coming from the 'stock' Mags that I need to consider? (I've looked at many photos, and most are very poor in showing these details) @Ace-Garageguy I was hoping maybe you could re-share the photo from 6 posts above? Any input you have to offer will be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for commenting!

  14. @Back after 50 years Thank you very much for responding! Is there a point of contact or website to peruse his catalog? I seen a website that I thought was his... ('Ray's Decals'?), but due the to sensitive nature of some info that's posted there, I didn't want to be perceived as a completely callous and selfish individual. ..
