  1. Thank you very much kind Sir! I shall follow suit. Much appri-she-ate-it! 😆
  2. Hey Gary! When you glued that sheet steel to the foamboard, what type of adhesive did you use? Any metal prep for it stick really well? Im having the same issue with warping as you had.
  3. Agreed. I very rarely here the word 'Integrity' anymore.
  4. I guess I somewhat understand that, but with all due respect Les, the thing I can't wrap my head around is, that the majority of the ads that I feel are so repulsive, are (typically) only here, yet ridiculously repetitive in nature. That's all I'm saying. If we could get a Patreon funded ad-free system going for, oh I don't know...$3-5 bucks a month or less(?), I would be one of the first to sign up. And I'm sure that I'm not alone in thinking that.
  5. This... Right here. This is exactly what I take issue with. I do not get ads suggesting pornography so blatantly, or as often, anywhere else.
  6. I am looking for a repository of any/all articles authored by Master Diorama builder Ken Hamilton. Any idea where I could find some? Thanks so much!
  7. Looking great so far. Did you create the resin conversion yourself?
  8. That Cordoba is pretty sharp looking. I used to have a Mirada. I wonder how he managed to keep the plastic front and rear clips from disintegrating all these years?
  9. You have excellent products Sir! You definitely haven't heard the last of me! 😆
  10. Man... That's looking fantastic! Makes me want to start mine! Thanks for sharing your progress!
  11. Some people can actually read whats under the ad... Just in case you missed it.
  12. Ok.... This really pisses me off.. I've reported ads in the past, and it does nothing. I'm ready to pay a few dollars a month to get this friggin disgusting trash of my screen... This is complete Bovine Excrement.. and I'm over it. How would I ever begin to explain something like this to my wife or grandchildren? I should NOT EVER HAVE TO. I'm on a model car forum.. With all the kindness and sincerity I can inflect in a text on a forum page... * Please. Do. Some. Thing.*
  13. Very inspiring work Peter. Your scratchbuilding skillset is definitely something I hope to achieve when I grow up. A fire extinguisher from a paint pipette? That's fantastic ingenuity right there! 😆 And tell your 'Gwen' hating friend to get over himself. I dated a girl once that rewired a Nissan pickup herself because the friend that loaned it to her couldn't figure out why it wouldn't run. She was smokin hot too! We've been married for 19 years. 😎
  14. Watching this closely... Anything from the Trans-Am era, is just beyond cool. If I still had my 68 Mustang coupe, it would have the looks and performance of a Trans-Am car, but all modern components and totally streetable.
  15. Looks fantastic! What are you using to ensure the frame is straight? I would really like to try something like this using styrene rod/tube myself before stepping up to soldering brass tube.
  16. Back in the late 90's, several friends and I from the local model car club would cruise to the various contests in his Aerostar. On one of our trips, we had a couple of close calls because the brakes were not equipped to a stop the equivalent of a cattle hauler (6 grown men plus everyones contest submissions and the literal hobby shop of purchases we brought back) 😂 Anyway... after that trip we immediately began referring to it as the 'Deathstar' 😂🤔 Thanks for the memories..
  17. I'm highly interested.
  18. I have no affiliation with this business whatsoever, but I recently bought some of these. I don't have precise measurements, but I will say that unless you're building 1/43rd scale kits, they are small enough that they should not be a problem: https://mcvproducts.net/shop-now/ols/categories/neodymium-magnets?sortOption=descend_by_created_at
  19. Looks intriguing... I'll be watching as well.
  20. I have a project that I started many years ago, and the photo etch that was attached using super glue ( can't remember which brand) has since become very brittle and the photo etch pieces are coming apart with very little pressure applied. Speaking of Bob Smith industries, has anyone tried their rubberized CA line of adhesive's? I'm interested in seeing if the rubberized blends would prevent those issues moving forward.
  21. Very, very cool Luke!
  22. That looks fantastic!
