Very well done.

I love the color and the stance.

That is looking good and the flames are just perfect for it.

I want a ride. Does anybody have a shrink ray I can borrow? Seriously, that's an amazing build with quite fine attention to detail.

This is a little piece I put together on one of my photo dioramas. I call it Grandparents on vacation. I chose to photograph it in B&W and date it to give it a "history" and a "moment in time" feel. The backdrop is a calender picture and the photo was taken at an end of my used car dealership diorama. Facing the figures facing away draws the viewer into the scene as one sees what they are seeing, as compared to one seeing them if they were facing the viewer.

You did a beautiful job on it.

This 1941 Chevy farm truck is as it might appear around 1959 after many hard years working Iowa's gravel roads going to and from town.

These girls are ready for a wild night of playing in the dirt. I built this one many years ago when this version of the 66 Nova kit first came out, and was one of my first attempts at building a dirt track stock car.

1961 Ford Starliner 60ies street cruiser
The Modeling Hermit replied to mangodart's topic in Model Cars
You captured the era perfectly. Now lets go do some cruising. -
That's a nice job on the damage, which is not easy to pull off successfully. I wasn't involved, but I got to watch one of the funniest accidents one could ever witness. This was in Iowa in the mid1990s during a snow storm. A young kid pulled up to a stop sign and another car stopped right behind him. The kid pulled out from the stop sign and started to turn left, but he decided to show off and floored the thing. He did a doughnut and actually managed to hit the car behind him. It sure was a lot of fun watching him trying to explain that one.

I do love 59 Mercurys and your green and black beauty has certainly done justice to this fine make. I don't suppose that I could talk you into dropping the top and giving me a ride?

Welcome back to the model building world. I'm not sure about your statement about the Camaro being pretty bad. I thought it looked very good for a comeback model.

You've got a lot of talent so get busy at the bench. I want to see more from you.

Let me get my bags and we can head out on vacation. That is a very beautiful build.

Jake, here in Kodiak we need one that say "RUST looks good on me", or maybe it should be the other way around. -

That is one tough old DiamondREO. -
That's a very nice build. I always loved those 60 Chevys and had one in some sort of strange yellow color with a green interior. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

That's a beautiful build using one of my favorite color combinations.

Thanks everybody for the great comments. This has been fun.

It looks like the "Widow Woman" has just dropped off a load of gravel in this new Chevrolet Bison dump ruck. The front wheels were widened by adding the wide rings from rear spoke wheels and the tires were widened by cutting and combining road tires. Spiders were added to the rear and the box came from a Paystar kit.
