  1. Your attention to detail is magnificent. This is one of those dioramas that keeps one riveted, slowly moving from one section to another. The only thing that I can see that one could add to this would be a few clumps of taller bushes scattered about, maybe one coming up through the whitewall tire.
  2. You've already passed awesome and amazing. I don't think there will be words to describe this when it's done.
  3. I'm loving it. I like the "detuned" models. We always get the super car versions, but these are what we remember actually cruising the streets. You've done very well with this conversion.
  4. The six is from the 41 Plymouth.
  5. I made a couple of slight alterations to AMTs 58 Plymouth Belvedere to make this Savoy.
  6. I'm one of those who doesn't get concerned with the deficiencies of the model. I'm just glad to have it. Yous looks beautiful just as it sits.
  7. I love this era of Mopars and yours is really cool. What's strange is that I don't like those non-shiney paint jobs, and yet, I'm really liking yours. Somehow it works!
  8. That is very well executed.
  9. The neighborhood kids are gathering, so things are going to get loud and wild tonight. Remember the days when we had that much energy? The weekend was considered a total loss if we didn't get the law called on us at least once, and the police would give us those wonderful lectures.
  10. This is just for a little fun.
  11. I made a couple of minor adjustments on this Ford L series race car hauler.
  12. I'm seeing RED!!! Seriously, that is a work of art to be proud of.
  13. That is an exceptionally clean work of art.
  14. Bill, thanks for showing the 61 Cadillac, It, along with a 56 Cadillac coupe, 59 & 62 Olds 88 4 door hardtops, and a 58 Ford Custom 300, are some cars I have on order from them.. This 59 Mercury is one of the models that has benefited from their products.
  15. This Chevy Titan90 had the chassis shortened as well as altered to single rear axle. The ten hole wheels were changed to two hole and the fuel tanks were shortened. The front bumper was changed to what was used only on some of the very earliest trucks. It's mated to an exterior post van for short haul delivery services. I remember some of these that would come from Des Moines to Ottumwa (Iowa) and stop in cities in between. Generally they would double park on the street and haul things into the businesses, but there were times when they would have to go down alleys. I was always amazed at how those drivers could manipulate those rigs through the tight situations that they found themselves in.
  16. GMC Astro wrecker using the wrecker body from the Peterbilt kit. I grew up in Iowa where we had what was called "Farmer's CO-OPs". They sometimes had their own wrecker/service vehicles, and this is loosely modeled after one that I saw. The chassis is lengthened and the sleeper removed. A tool storage box sits between the cab and wrecker box, and a single exhaust is utilized. Only the left fuel tank was used and it was shortened as well as having a removable cap attached to a chain. The dash from a Titan90 I built is shown (though not yet finished), but the dash for this received the same treatment.
  17. This is a trip back to the early fifties, and it's quite well done.
  18. Jim, that's the photography, that gold is actually silver. I was going for a sunset theme, and my lighting gave the chrome and silver that gold tone.
  19. The White Freightliner is one of my favorite truck models. In this case I mated it with the wrecker from the Peterbilt kit. I made 5 hole wheels from 10 hole and added some chassis detail. I also had to do some cutting and shaping on the wrecker body panels to make them fit around some of the WFs equipment. The color is reminiscent of some of the strange colors coming out of the early 70s.
  20. Peterbilt 378 built box stock
  21. Seen here is a White Freightliner single rear axle and van doubles, that I've had in storage for awhile. I brought it out for a photo session and it went back in storage.
  22. The only things missing are the smell and the flies. This is perfection.
  23. No frills and all business; you got the plan.
  24. You have some beautiful detail there.
  25. This generation and the mid eighties generation were my favorite of the Camaros. I like what you've done with this one.
