  1. That is beautiful craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing.
  2. That is fabulous.
  3. I was beginning to think that you must have a shrink ray, but then saw that yours is better than the real car. Keep the coming.
  4. Your skill in construction and color choice add to the already high level of elegance of this classic Cadillac.
  5. This will be my most involved diorama to date. It will feature three levels (not stories), multiple work bays and a work area on the ground floor, a machine shop on the intermediate level, and offices-break area-storage on the highest level. Follow along as I sink or swim. This is the base of the structure as originally built. I found that the original size was not going to allow me the authenticity that I was striving for, so an addition was built for it. This is the beginnings of the back wall.
  6. This is what I call a photo diorama, as it's purpose is to be able to photograph different models, generally for publication. The scale on this is 1/25 with the size being 12 inches X 12inches footprint and 7 inches in height.
  7. Monty, I'm sorry, but I don't remember the exact paints that I used. The hardtop was Testors metallic gold with a pearl coat over it, followed by Testors wet look clear. I don't remember the exact numbers. I'm not sure what paint I used on the convertible.
  8. I can't take credit for the wheels on the convertible. My friend Troy Deal, did those and gave them to me.
  9. I am truly shocked. That is outstanding and quite beyond belief that anybody could make a Palmer kit look that good.
  10. That little Dart rocks.
  11. I think you could safely call this beauty the Blue Bird of Happiness. You did well.
  12. These are a couple of rebuilders that I made a little more presentable.
  13. From freshly arrived in shop to showroom floor...
  14. You're car came out quite well, and one would not notice the deficiencies that you state, if you hadn't mentioned them. They are still not noticeable.
  15. I usually build showroom stock, but this one got a little personalizing.
  16. It looks beautiful. You should display it proudly.
  17. You did a beautiful job on one of my favorite truck kits. It is most inspiring.
  18. The attention to detail paid off in a very presentable work of art.
  19. It looks exactly like what I saw at my local co-ops when I was a youth in Iowa.
  20. The only way it could have been more realistic is if you'd gone out and used a shrink ray on the real deal.
  21. 1959 Buick from beginning of a restoration project to showroom.
  22. I love this kit just about as much as many modelers hate it. Building it as a wrecker was challenging enjoyment. The color was done on purpose, but the reasoning for it is almost as frightening as the color. LOL
  23. This White Western Star morphed from an east coaster to a west coaster. In the process, the chassis was lengthened, as was the sleeper, & it got dual exhaust among some other goodies. The paint is a nice tasty cinnamon & chocolate.
