  1. The last glass blower I saw was at Branson, been some years. Really need to go back up that way, for a mini vacay and get away.
  2. As a hot rodder, I appreciate a nice bone stock build. I like the path you have started.
  3. Thanks John! Just gonna do the work, and keep showing why I am the best candidate.
  4. Looking great! Can't ever go wrong with a Purple GTX!
  5. It's a minor Irk... but in the end if things pan the way I want, my work life will change from physical to mental. I am waiting on the results of a job I had applied and interviewed for, been 10 work days since, and he wrapped up interviews this last Mon/Tue. So just going buggy on the status. I felt I put a good foot forward, and have started taking the courses that relate to the role as well, so if my efforts during the interview were solid, the work I am doing will help me get ahead on the training to reduce the amount of time from newbie newbie to new guy. And I know there is a bit of time yet before the window I was given as to when to expect to hear something one way or another. And on the flip side, a few extra bucks for Models and supplies!
  6. Bob, awesome work, love the 572, and the little touches you have done on this!
  7. Gets better everytime I visit the post!! So much detail, and explanation on how to do things!!!
  8. Got some more trimming done on the 47, and the wife is gonna have me tank the Fairlane, she didn't like the color, but I will be doing that car again with that same color cuz it looked fantastic. I got a little bit of suspension done on the Fairlane, and tires and rims lined out. Will assemble them tomorrow likely and start doing more work on the engine to at least get the engine/frame fully ready. Will have to do some painting on the frame for some detail stuff.
  9. Looking great! Excellent work on the adding the trim!
  10. Fantastic Craftsmanship! And thanks for sharing your tips and tricks your employing as you work through things!!
  11. Some hard core grinding, and even did a little frame massaging. Gonna be fun tucking things into this bay. Have to figure out the radiator once I get the motor/trans set into place. After that then it's a pretty straight forward build.
  12. Bench time is light but I am puttering a bit each night, I will be taking some pics tonight, of the fender work I did. Found I have to do a bit more shaping, to get things to settle. Also looking like I get to massage somethings like crazy to get it to fit. I have yet to do a test fit with the engine assembled, but doing fits as I go, so I don't over remove material.
  13. Beautiful @gtx6970 I agree about taking pics, let's you find things you miss.
  14. Dude! Your killing this! I normally don't do snap kits, but... it does give a reason to perfect other techniques I could use on other kits. Your interior is mint!
  15. Thanks Carl! I plan on a bit more bench time tomorrow, will have some pics to post on progress on the engine and engine bay.
  16. No pics, but did some grinding on the inside of the 47 front fenders, and it looks like I will have to do a bit more to get things to sit, will likely post tomorrow after I get more bench time.
  17. Work of art in progress! I love the rear wheel wells! Those are slick! I am a sucker for that style as well on the stuff I see on a day to day basis!!
  18. Incredible!
  19. Looking good sir! I like the look of it, gives me 100% barn find feel!
  20. Yeah, and I know once I get past the engine install, the rest is easy. Flat black and murdered fully out! And stock ride height I will throw some color in the interior but not sure what yet.
  21. Yeah I have to get the dremel out and fix some of the roughness of cutting out I did. I will likely have to cut more and build back once I get the TT put together. (And there is a good shot I will have to build a custom front suspension.)
