Hey folks,
Returning builder, started when I was 7 years old and built up until 19 years old. Stopped due to a woman, picked back up when I was 44ish and now have a supportive wife, who lets me build and buy what I want.
I build mainly 1/24, 1/25 automotive, and 1:48 airplanes. I have completed 3 cars in the last 8 years due to life, and have a semi in the works, the car hauler trailer is almost done.
Will be redoing my hobby room (I got one now so the stash has grown and the supplies as well) to be ready for a paint booth and such.
I am a pc gamer, reader, horrible at drawing but practicing and enjoy coloring as well. Figure all these tie into being a better scale modeler.
I like building mash ups, box stock, or anything I can get my head excited for.
Current stash is almost 400 kits, I have many that are from my childhood I loved building and can't to build them now and do a better job at it.
I am learning how to airbrush very soon as well, normally a brush and spray can guy. But want to learn new techniques as well.
I hope to be fairly active here as I can.
And from the bits and nosing I have done, I like seeing folks building anything and everything. I try and learn something from each build I see!
Thanks!
