Love this little 280! Fantastic work!

Beautiful, I love these old girls, and 2 tone paint make them even better. I love the 6 in it as well!!
-
Thanks! I will likely do a sister car with the big tires as well. Moebius did this kit justice.
-
It really did, the front grill was a bit wonky but as far as ease of assembly I'd say 7.5 out 10, just minor things. I'll build this again for sure.

Great looking Vette, the gold looks fantastic!

Sweet!! You nailed it man! Clean work, and definitely can tell it was built with honor to your old car! Well done!!

So as the title states, this was a build she picked out, and picked the colors. I did the factory red engine color for 57, (Tamiya Red- looked close enough to Ford Red) This car took a strip bath twice before she settled on the purple. I enjoyed this build, and if I get another, I will do a two-tone for it. Without further ado:

So this one was my first can I stuff a 10000 lb bag of fertilizer in a 5 lb box. Well I did. It was also my .... I will glue the front fenders on before any paint goes down because I had to do some touch up and it doesn't look good close, but from a distance, looks damn good. I will be adding the full exhaust, and then will do under carriage pics. Without further ado:

Final details done. Tag... done Small detail paint .. done Ready for another group build.. depends on what is being built! -
Nice and I usually build 3-5 at a time. Just completed 3! Final steps on my Cannonball car. The 47 (will have to do exhaust later on) And the 57 Fairlane for the wife. Plus got the Skyline from prime to base coat. Cleaned up some empty boxes. I take pics of the box lid and then pitch them, don't have a way to store them, but later on I will do something with the pics.

Your welcome, this has been a great and enjoyable journey! -
I did a little work on the 67, painted the door handles, and got the back up lights done, added the battery, tomorrow ill put tag decal on it. The 47 got red tail lights, white front turn signals. Then I have to finish the exhaust, gonna do straight pipe and dump at the rear wheels. (easy and something that would of been done) The 57 Ford got, some paint on the interior, door handles, and interior bucket glued in, and body to chassis, will do the front grill and front/rear bumpers tomorrow. Had to paint the body filler between bumper and body tonight. The Skyline is in primer, may have a tiny bit of touch to do to it, then Silver Mica goes on.

Got some paint on the door handles, battery is in, back up lights painted, some paint in the grill to break up the pure chrome, and tag goes on tomorrow night. I will take one last set of pics and then it's done! -
