Michaels getting rid of models?
meechum68 replied to gbdolfans's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Looks like I will have to sweet talk the wife to a Michael's trip! She likes going so it shouldn't be too hard! If the one we go to has 1/2 this amount of kits in it, I will be thrilled. -

Fantastic!! What diameter was the wire you used for tail pipes? I have a project I am working on and will need to run exhaust.

Well done!! I am building this same kit for my wife. I am hoping to lay down body/door/hood color today. And then shoot the interior tub/dash and front seats as well.

Nice!

And if the wall units are mounted on the studs.... no bueno! The walls come tumbling, falling, the walls come tumbling, falling ... dooooown!! (Couldn't resist the song lyrics)

I usually build "American" stuff, and they all have engines, but since I have been a member here, I do look forward to working on my Aoshima's, Fujimi's and Tamiya "curbside" stuff to learn better weathering techniques, interior detailing, etc. Since I won't be concentrating on the engine and driveline details. I do like the cost of Imports being considerably lower than most of my Revell's AMT/Ertl, MPC stuff, so for me price and the look of the car are huge factors for purchase. Plus if I decide to do something wild kit bash style, I really have to step up my crafting game.
