  1. Getting closer, tomorrow should be engine, headers, and drive shaft. And mounting the flip hood, and some touch up paint in the engine bay.
  2. Current work bench..and yes the computer desk is work bench too lol
  3. Current work bench as I am in the middle of 5 builds.
  4. Some good work tonight at the bench, did some detail painting, flat cleared the wheels, so I can get the truck on its own wheels. will get ladder bars and wheelie bars on it tomorrow. Then have to final paint the headers, and set the engine and mount headers. So close to wrapping up this ole girl. And you can see how the tweaking went, not quite perfect this time, but I now know how to do the next ones.
  5. I got the bed painted for the one Datsun. Did some work on the other Datsun, which I am updating in a moment. And took a couple pics for Workbench Sat post.
  6. Malco Willy's and a Tucker!!! That had to be so wicked to see in person! Thank you for sharing!
  7. Excellent work sir!! I am glad to see that I am not the only one who shakes when doing detail paint! I love this color combo!!!
  8. I went to the Ollie's in Tulsa, and they had some 69 Camaro's which I snagged one, and on the shelf some random boat.
  9. So today I got to do a bit of shopping. The dodge's, the Pontiac, the S-10, the Nissan, primer, and leveling and 2 diplay cases came from my VERY local LHS, the one that is closing, got things at 20% off, and I love the break, but hate knowing he's retiring in march, but so happy he's retiring! The Z-28 was an Ollie's find. The Porsche and Skyline, and 2 clears, blue, white and black are all from my other LHS in Tulsa. I really wanted to spend more at Very local LHS, but today I was super limited. Really wanted 2 more of the S-10 and the last Pontiac he had in stock.
  10. I mean, what's to say one of our fine Resin folks don't just make a few of these, and show the guy, that they aren't that rare?
  11. Oh this is looking sharp!!
  12. I like it! The blue works so well. Good work, and I struggle every so often with my windshields and glue. I do use a glue for windows though, and I even use Elmer's glue for my windows, so if I get it on them its not as obvious.
  13. Holy smokes... the work .. the diorama's... these guys and gals are amazing craftsman. Off the hook skills!
  14. This is looking wicked! Excellent work man!
  15. Thanks John! I wanted something kinda wild for it, and I this particular Colorshift I like and then here we are.
  16. Welcome aboard Rudolph! Enjoy your stay!
  17. Welcome John! Great folks here, and tons of information.
  18. Abit more work done. Cab is together... the front glass is a tricky bugger due to design. Got the ladder bars out of the purple pond, and same with the headers. Will prime the ladder bars/wheelie bars tomorrow and assemble the headers, and get them primed. Will shoot the headlights white, and do a little bit of detailing on the body tomorrow as well. And I just saw that the frame has a slight tweak after the fact. But I will just live with it since it's not horrible. (I do have a heat gun I can pin point heat on the frame and adjust.. I shall try that tomorrow night too!)
  19. I got caught by the Moderator lol.
  20. Thanks, something about them old Poncho's ... the right stance and tires... and boom .. fast looking. Even if a boat anchor. Yeah, hopefully it doesn't, but I will just roll with it. Thanks, and yeah, they just have this pizazz!
  21. Decals on the way, will see what ones I go with to decide the car color. Once that happens, then it's wash the body, prime the body and lay paint. I am waiting on a few resin bits n bobs for it too. But the wheel/tire combo is staying the same.
