  1. I love the 68 Cutlass S Drop top! Sexy as hell!! Thank you for sharing!
  2. This is my beast, and I will be building a model of it. Atm, this heifer is giving me fuel fits, still have to troubleshoot a few things yet. 1990, 234k miles and soon to have a new engine for it. The pics at this time was when I was working on the interior. Fixed quite a few issues, column, carpet, speakers.
  3. So I got an hour, mounted a few bits and bobs, have things mounted and will paint tomorrow. Will mount the bed and cab, and then do door handles and license plates. Plus I got a ton better shot of the interior too! Will dust things before I take final pics for Completed post! Here is some more progress:
  4. That is crazy beautiful sir! Well done!!
  5. This is my other buddy, Jabber.. yes he's a talker! He's my chair buddy and also is diabetic, I give him shots twice a day.
  6. If I can get bench time tonight I will get the little bits n bobs in the interior done, the air cleaner painted and assemble it. Then it's door handles and a couple other things and it's done.
  7. A friend of mine has gotten 18" this weekend and it's still raining. Stay safe man!
  8. Nice! And a bit more work on the truck! The one pic of the interior shot I took turned out darker than expected 😕
  9. I ordered another rack for my bigger Tamiya paint bottles, will be assembling it this next week and start laying the colors out instead of scanning in the mix and match mess I have now.
  10. I fixed them! I have a dental pick that worked perfect for pulling them into place! Thanks again for the tip! Looks a ton better!!
  11. I tend to do the same with the spray's too. Just can't buy one!
  12. More work, atm in the hurry up and wait mode so things can dry and I can do more assembly.
  13. So I got a bit of things done on my 34 Ford Truck I really need to work on the kit for the wife. She changed her mind on colors so good thing its been in Purple Power for a bit.
  14. Glad to see I am not the only one who buys Tamiya's in bulk!
  15. I had never done any sort of body mods ..and was like, I wonder ... so yeah.
  16. Thanks! I am working on it be a mild 30's custom. No running boards and flat head and the right tires/wheels.
  17. Here are the pictures I promised and some more work as well. The blue is Race Blue by Tamiya, and the Tan is Sand Tan (I think is the name) by Tamiya.
  18. Ohhh thank you for sharing! I love old junkyards that still have classic steel!
  19. So went to my local hobby shop, had a nice chat with the owner. I get to support him until March 2026, so will look to spend something each payday there, be it supplies or a kit. So without further ado... I had the wife with me while I was out and about, and this haul was from today and I blew the budget so far out of the water, I only got a dirty look from the wife, but I didn't get murdered lol. I had plan on spending about 200ish, but was closer to 300 lol.
  20. Welcome! Enjoy your stay! Can't wait to see what you have done!
