This is my beast, and I will be building a model of it. Atm, this heifer is giving me fuel fits, still have to troubleshoot a few things yet. 1990, 234k miles and soon to have a new engine for it. The pics at this time was when I was working on the interior. Fixed quite a few issues, column, carpet, speakers.

So I got an hour, mounted a few bits and bobs, have things mounted and will paint tomorrow. Will mount the bed and cab, and then do door handles and license plates. Plus I got a ton better shot of the interior too! Will dust things before I take final pics for Completed post! Here is some more progress: -

If I can get bench time tonight I will get the little bits n bobs in the interior done, the air cleaner painted and assemble it. Then it's door handles and a couple other things and it's done. -
Looking great!!

Nice! And a bit more work on the truck! The one pic of the interior shot I took turned out darker than expected 😕 -
I ordered another rack for my bigger Tamiya paint bottles, will be assembling it this next week and start laying the colors out instead of scanning in the mix and match mess I have now.

Here are the pictures I promised and some more work as well. The blue is Race Blue by Tamiya, and the Tan is Sand Tan (I think is the name) by Tamiya. -
So went to my local hobby shop, had a nice chat with the owner. I get to support him until March 2026, so will look to spend something each payday there, be it supplies or a kit. So without further ado... I had the wife with me while I was out and about, and this haul was from today and I blew the budget so far out of the water, I only got a dirty look from the wife, but I didn't get murdered lol. I had plan on spending about 200ish, but was closer to 300 lol.
