I think that Yellow is a color meant for them old fords and nothing else. I now have to get a nice simple yellow. Beautiful build!
-
That is a stupid sharp build!! The color definitely belongs on that car!! Amazing!
-
That is a kitchy little car, and the color makes it look fantastic! What kit is this? Who makes it I mean.
-
Following this build! Im a sucker for a wagon!

Beautiful work!!

Thanks and we got good folks here who gave me a couple new ideas on what to look at.
-
I like the quality of kits, and they build so nicely! I also like the complexity as well. They will definitely help me become a better builder.

The following are new: Pump x2 (Found out the first pump was fine, since then.) I have the original pump yet and I know it works well. Fuel Tank Sending unit Filter Cap/Rotor Wires Coil Fuel Pump Relay Still have to trouble shoot some wiring on the firewall. Have to replace the oil pressure switch. Gonna get back at it soon after I get a few slow days.

Oh thank you for the info! I will do more digging on what I want to build from them and then share here!

Looking good! I like the body color, I think I have it in my paint stash, and I do have that same Vette as well... hmmm. -
So I am venturing into more Import vehicles and I see that Fujimi are really cheap on Amazon, and has anyone built the brand? And if so are they as pain in the neck as some of the old MPC kits, or they decent enough and lastly, are they split for curbside and open hood style?

Old Dirt Car
meechum68 replied to Terry Jessee's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
Nice! And they weighed like 1000lbs or so IRC, one of the dirt tracks where I grew up had them. Kinda wished I had paid more attention then, but if it wasn't a drag car it didn't hold my interest too well. -

This is my beast, and I will be building a model of it. Atm, this heifer is giving me fuel fits, still have to troubleshoot a few things yet. 1990, 234k miles and soon to have a new engine for it. The pics at this time was when I was working on the interior. Fixed quite a few issues, column, carpet, speakers.

So I got an hour, mounted a few bits and bobs, have things mounted and will paint tomorrow. Will mount the bed and cab, and then do door handles and license plates. Plus I got a ton better shot of the interior too! Will dust things before I take final pics for Completed post! Here is some more progress: -
