  1. Got this from Wes ... was the last bit of model spending money. Gonna do the 3 Chevy's box stock, the Catalina I have a plan for, and same with the Ventura. I got these Wednesday.
  2. Fantastic work sir!! And as an Olds lover, I would be proud to drive that!! Elegance in process!!
  3. Damn John! And here I thought getting woke up early was the worst for me today. Thanks for throwing some perspective on the day! Plus man, you got this my friend!
  4. Oh so many great kits coming! I want 2-3 of the Beemer for sure!
  5. That's just so slick!
  6. I got a second coat of primer on the Catalina and Hudson after cleaning up mold lines, tomorrow will be touch up if needed, then the Hudson gets first coat of body paint. The Skyline I am working on, I will be able to start some detail painting on the chassis parts and some assembly to at least get it to roller. The interior is in an alcohol bath due to some paint being horrid. I will get both frames of the Hudson and Pontiac final painted, then will figure out the chassis parts color for them, and then prime and paint. I also figured out where my OBS kit is... and I have to unbury it from behind the air craft.
  7. Yeah, I got the resin motor in and decals, haven't decided on what ones I will use, and today, I sanded body lines, will drop more primer on it. Likely will paint the frame tonight as well.
  8. Silver metal flake! And this is looking killer bit by bit
  9. And I have seen my share of rear suspension work held together just like that
  10. She doesn't look too bad, that really sucks the wind got it! Send her to the shop, get a quote and fix her up with a bit of duct tape and bailing wire! Really hate seeing this
  11. Gonna be a neat pair of mini trucks!
  12. Bring back the Vanning 70-80s! I will have to get a couple of those.
  13. Body is in primer, the bottom of the tub is 1/2 done in prime. Tomorrow I will work on the body lines that need to be dealt with.
  14. That's slick!!
  15. That is beautiful!! Love the blue!!
  16. Thank you Steve! I may have an extra grill on the way from a buddy. So I can do some mockup in the near future.
  17. Thanks! This was a fun kit and I have some ideas I want to try with the next one. (As you can see I had a frame tweak issue... but will be in a better place to deal with it before paint.) I have 2 more in the stash because initially I was gonna frame and chassis raid them, but now will build them.
  18. I didn't know that it was missing a bit on the grill. I should of done my due diligence on that. But I am happy to see it coming back. I really enjoyed this kit. Will have to get a couple more for my stash.
  19. Awesome, amazing, beautiful, sleek... Love it!
  20. Love the Olds, I saw your chop steps... incredible! I am doing a Hudson as well, and your so far in the weeds with this, I love it! And that Plymouth ... sleek and low!
  21. A bit of a mock up of a Skyline I am working on.
  22. Got the Hudson bathed, frame, tub and body. Another coat on the little Datsun bed. Detail painting on the engine for the Skyline I had posted.
  23. Got the body and tub and frame washed, will let them have a nice over night drying session. Will prime the body, tub, and frame tomorrow if things go as planned. Primed the suspension goodies. Once suspension is assembled will paint frame and go back and add some details.
  24. I did the header gluing, and engine mounting at lunch today.
