  1. Planned obsolence is bean counters looking at profit. Truly disgusts me, make quality stuff that lasts and make parts for the product and you have loyalty, but the poor manufacturers won't have record years, boohoo. The rest of my thoughts would get me banned
  2. Another import for the stash! I looked into it, an comes with a two different sets of rims and I like them both.
  3. Love it man! I am a man of simple pleasures, and Olive Drab and the white Army stars are simple but so on point! Thanks for sharing!
  4. That made me smile! That is a great piece!!
  5. Great color combo, and fantastic detail work! Excellent my man!
  6. Nice work!!
  7. That's really coming together! Thanks for the update!
  8. Fantastic work! And the fact it can be sailed makes the build even cooler!!
  9. Looking good man! I have a couple of these, watching to see how the old girl ends up.
  10. Snagged a second set of Tamiya nippers, and I have 2 pack of the KATA coming in as well. Will be here tomorrow. I will have a Tamiya and a Kata in my travel tool bag! Can't ever not have too many sets of nippers!
  11. Looking good sir! Great color choice!!
  12. I really need to make sure and get Sat Work Bench stuff up!
  13. Excellent work guys! I should soon start my Cannonballer!
  14. Beautiful work! Clean work!!
  15. Thanks sir! I will have to figure out the tub part and then will be making an order.
  16. I'd love to see a Bulletnose Studebaker, and that is one of my holy grail actual cars I'd love to have. And if anyone knows of a resin master making that kit, let me know. I understand that it would be a very niche car, which would definitely have a very steep price point, but I still would love to see it made. Easily 6-9 in my stash if Round2 made them.
  17. A very well put together video, and easily understood as well. Now it has me thinking on oil for when I build my new engine for my truck. Damn and here I thought I could run with what I knew, and the oil game has changed so much.
  18. @Vic Florie was nice to meet you and the rest of the folks there. Some crazy talent and I loved seeing the younger folks in and showing their work, the young man who brought the Vette's I liked his work. As you saw, I was talking with Max a good bit, we go back to 1998, and had lost contact when my daughter was 2, so 25 years later finally get to see him again. As of now, as long as I am in town, I plan on coming next month. I will also bring a couple kits I have done, and likely will have a couple WiP as well.
  19. I hit Hobby Town today, as my daughter wanted some 3d puzzles. So I snagged a couple bottles of glue, some sanding flexible sticks, some pearl clear, and titanium. I also hit my LHS, and grabbed some wheels for 2 of my Tamiya kits, and white wall kit for the 57 Fairlane I am building for my wife. I also grabbed these little storage baskets from Walmart for my paint organization. They are in the back to school section, they fold flat too.
  20. Moebius ... see we want some of the old promo's done .. like this one and others. (I know it's a pipe dream, but would be amazing if they could do them.)
  21. You mean T-Rex!
  22. They are one of those wheels that just .. work. From strip to street, and beyond.
